Abstract: A surgical robotic system includes a surgical robotic arm having an instrument and an instrument drive unit configured to actuate the instrument. The system also includes a storage device and a controller configured to store a save point on the storage device, the save point including configuration data pertaining to at least one of the surgical robotic arm, the instrument drive unit, or the instrument. The controller is further configured to detect an error resulting in a reboot of at least one of the surgical robotic arm, the instrument drive unit, or the instrument. The controller is additionally configured to access the configuration data of the save point after the reboot of at least one of the surgical robotic arm, the instrument drive unit, or the instrument.

Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) system for guiding a user interaction in a phone call or chat session. The system includes a computer running an AI algorithm, such as a machine learning algorithm, which is trained to recognize patterns in user interaction dialog which lead to satisfactory outcomes for the user. The system may operate in a completely autonomous mode, or the system connect a human agent in the loop. The algorithm adaptively guides the dialog to achieve a favorable outcome based on the current status of the dialog—including identifying a next question to ask, information to provide, or an action to take. The algorithm is trained via supervised learning using real dialog transcriptions from past user interactions which have been supplemented with decision points and outcomes. After deployment, update training may be performed on the algorithm using data captured by the system after the user interactions.

Abstract: A user permission system manages and regulates access to secure data at one or more third-party data sites. The system may provide access to one or more databases or other data structures based on user authentication and access rules that have been established, such as by a user associated with the data being accessed at the third party data store. Access may be provided via an API to the third-party data site, along with access credentials of a user with data stored with the third-party data site, allowing the system to access data on behalf of the user.

Abstract: The game apparatus includes a board bearing a regular pattern with a plurality of adjoining octagonal units arranged in horizontal rows and vertical columns and a plurality of square units interposed between the octagonal units. A series of markers each bearing a numeral are placed at the commencement of the game on the octagonal units. Two series of counters are provided, one for each player or team of players. Each series of counters includes a number of counters each of which bears a numeral. A first counter-yard is located in the region of one edge of the board for receiving the counters of one player or team of players. A second counter-yard is located in the region of the opposite edge of the board for receiving the counters of the other player or team of players.
