  • Publication number: 20250209886
Abstract: An electronic gaming system is described. The electronic gaming system includes a management server including a processor and a memory device storing computer-readable instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive player identification data and game data. The instructions also cause the processor to request and receive, based upon the player identification data and from a player tracking server, player data associated with the player account, cause display, on a host device associated with a casino host, of at least a portion of the player data and the game data, and determine that the EGM should be disabled for a predetermined amount of time. The instructions further cause the processor to cause display of a message indicating that the EGM will be disabled and disable the EGM for the predetermined amount of time.

  • Publication number: 20240414192
Abstract: Peer device protection enables a first device comprising a digital security agent to remedy security issues on (or associated with) a set of devices visible to the first device. In aspects, a first device comprising a digital security agent may identify a set of devices visible to the first device. The first device may monitor the set of devices to collect data, such as types of communications and data points of interest. The digital security agent may apply threat detection to the collected data to identify anomalous network behavior. When anomalous network behavior is detected, the first device may cause an indicator of compromise (IOC) to be generated. Based on the IOC, the first device may facilitate remediation of the anomalous network behavior and/or apply security to one or more devices in the set of devices.

  • Patent number: 12007226
Abstract: A method for measuring a thickness of a deposit layer on a metal or alloy substrate using an X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer, where the deposit layer includes scale deposits or corrosion products. As part of the method, an elemental composition of the deposit layer or the metal or alloy substrate is measured using the XRF spectrometer. The thickness of the deposit layer is obtained from the elemental composition using a calibration relationship between deposit layer thicknesses and corresponding elemental compositions of the deposit layer or the metal/alloy substrate. The method can be applied to determine the rate of deposit layer formation and evaluate the effectiveness of a treatment.

  • Patent number: 11483984
Abstract: Trellis arrangements are used for supporting fruit-bearing plants as they grow. A problem in some orchards or the like is that it can be difficult to install trellis posts in the ground, in particular when the posts are relatively long and difficult to place at the correct angle. The invention discloses a trellis comprising a plurality of supports, each support comprising a shaft embedded in a ground, and at least one connector arm extending upwards at an acute angle with respect to the ground. The trellis is such that for each support, a post is sleeve-fitted to the connector arm so that the post extends upwards at an acute angle but does not touch the ground; the upwardly extending posts collectively support elevated lines running between the posts; and the lines support branches of a fruit bearing plant growing along the lines.
