  • Patent number: 11644315
Abstract: A wayfinding system, device, and method for providing a route between waypoints within a facility. The method includes generating a navigation graph of traversable areas connecting a set of waypoints; determining a shortest traversable path between each waypoint and every other waypoint based on the navigation graph; setting one or more requirements for plotting a route traversing the set of waypoints; and plotting the route traversing the set of waypoints, wherein the route is plotted according to the one or more requirements.

  • Patent number: 11532065
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing indoor navigation to emergency services are disclosed. The methods involve storing at least one electronic map of a facility and at least one annotation for the at least one electronic map. The at least one annotation can be representative of a service resource within the facility. The method also involves receiving a traversed area from at least one computing device within the facility during an event; determining a total traversed area based on the traversed area from each of the at least one computing device during the event; and providing the at least one annotation and the total traversed area within the at least one electronic map to be displayed on at least one graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20210303763
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for geometry simplification and filtering are provided. The systems and methods may provide for automated simplification and filtering of visually complex architectural diagrams to their most important features, as may be desirable for creating maps that are true to real world instantiations. The method may use a conditional generative adversarial network (cGAN) that may be particularly well suited to identifying geometry in feature-poor architectural drawings.

  • Patent number: 10489965
Abstract: Systems and methods for positioning and orienting a virtual camera relative to an electronic map are disclosed. The system includes a communication network, a wayfinding server, and one or more user devices. The wayfinding server includes a wayfinding storage unit for storing electronic maps. The wayfinding processor is configured for providing an electronic map to the user devices. Each user device includes a user processor operatively coupled to a user memory and is configured for: receiving the electronic map; determining a set of target objects within the electronic map; determining a desired orientation of the virtual camera; generating a point cloud collection; generating a rotation matrix; generating an oriented point cloud; generating a three-dimensional bounding shape; calculating a desired position and orientation for the virtual camera; and providing the electronic map having a view from the virtual camera at the desired position and orientation for display.

  • Patent number: 6446294
Abstract: An electric toothbrush is provided which includes an elongate body having an interior cavity, a power source mounted within the cavity, an elongate drive shaft driven rotatably by the power source, a camwheel mounted on the drive shaft, a yoke with projecting arms which confine travel of the camwheel, a crankshaft section driven by the drive shaft, an output shaft axially aligned to the drive shaft, and a collar with a guide track eccentrically coupling the crankshaft section to the output shaft thereby imparting both lateral and rotary reciprocating motion to the output shaft. A brushhead mounted on the front end of the elongate body accepts the motion from the output shaft. The mechanical drive system is fully enclosed within the housing of the elongate body. Brushheads are replaceably mountable outside the cavity on the front end.
