  • Publication number: 20100030302
Abstract: A system for displaying trended data retrieved from a medical device comprising a medical device which monitors and stores trended patient data, a data center, and an intermediate data relay device. The intermediate device receives stored trended patient data from the medical device and uploads the data to the data center. The data center merges the uploaded data with patient data obtained during previous data uploads. Clinicians can access the uploaded and merged patient using an interactive web page which allows the clinicians to seamlessly view the data.

  • Publication number: 20060074464
Abstract: Data is retrieved from an implantable medical device (IMD) for presentation by interrogating the IMD to access the data. Medical report parameters are established by user selection, and a medical report is assembled that includes only the accessed data that corresponds to the selected medical report parameters.

  • Publication number: 20050060186
Abstract: In general, the invention is directed to techniques for prioritized presentation of implantable medical device (IMD) events based on relative importance. Given a prioritization of events, the techniques permit presentation of events in an order or format that directs a clinician's attention to important events. In some embodiments, a clinician simultaneously views events obtained from multiple IMDs associated with multiple patients, e.g., via single user interface, and is aided by an order or format of presentation that reflects event prioritization. In some cases, an IMD event with a priority above a predetermined threshold triggers special actions. As one example, an event with a high relative importance may be presented using a conspicuous text format. As another example, an event with a priority above the threshold may trigger a notification to a clinician, or other persons.

  • Patent number: 6583796
Abstract: A graphical user interface is provided controllably displaying information retrieved from an implantable device, such as a pacemaker. The graphical user interface is comprised of a first and second window. The first window is adapted to display data identifying a plurality of episodes recorded by the implantable device, wherein the data is comprised of a plurality of fields. One of the fields may be used to identify a type of episode, such as ventricular tachycardia (VT), atrial and ventricular tachycardia (A&V), atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter (Afl), atrial tachycardia (AT), and premature atrial contraction (PAC). The second window is adapted to display data types, such as VT, A&V, AF, Afl, AT, and PAC, that may be present in the plurality of fields, wherein at least one of the data types may be selected to filter the episodes displayed in the first window and display those episodes having the selected data types.

  • Patent number: 6266566
Abstract: An apparatus and method for normalizing waveform information displayed on a medical device. This waveform normalization allows the user to quickly adjust individual waveforms if they exceed the normal viewing range on the display. An electrogram signal is received from an implantable medical device. The electrogram signal is continuously transformed into a plurality of voltage data samples. A waveform is created from the plurality of voltage data samples, and the waveform is displayed on a medical display device. A user selectable waveform normalization control is located adjacent each displayed waveform on the medical display device. Upon activation of the waveform normalization control, the adjacent waveform is normalized to a pre-determined nominal height on the display.

  • Patent number: 6161039
Abstract: The present invention relates to a graphical display method and apparatus representing an electrogram signal received from at least one lead used in conjunction with an implantable medical device. The present invention provides a time-expanded waveform of a portion of a signal relating to a single heartbeat. Sensitivity threshold information is also graphically displayed on the waveform. The programmer assembly of the present invention comprises an analyzer for locating and marking desired characteristics of an electrogram signal received from at least one lead position within a passageway of a heart. The analyzer produces a marked electrogram signal. A processor receives the marked electrogram signal from the analyzer and recognizes the marked desired characteristics of the electrogram signal. A display, controlled by the processor, displays information representing a portion of the electrogram signal adjacent to the marked desired characteristics of the electrogram signal.
