  • Patent number: 11050754
Abstract: An electrical device can include at least one electrical device component and at least one sensor that measures at least one parameter. The electrical device can also include an integrated control interface disposed on a housing of the electrical device and coupled to the at least one electrical device component, where the integrated control interface allows for manual control of the at least one electrical device component. The electrical device can further include an access controller communicably coupled to the at least one electrical device component and the at least one sensor. The access controller can receive, from the at least one sensor, a communication sent by a user. The access controller can also control, based on determining that the user has the authority to control the at least one electrical device component, the at least one electrical device component based on instructions.

  • Publication number: 20200163181
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium of a reservation controller contains instructions executable by a processor. The instructions include receiving a user request for a requested space, where the user request includes a time slot for a use of the requested space. The instructions include identifying unoccupied spaces based on current status information from multiple occupancy sensors in response to determining that the time slot is within a threshold period of time from a current time. The unoccupied spaces are one or more of multiple spaces that are currently unoccupied. The instructions also include identifying available spaces from among the unoccupied spaces and reserving a matching space from among the available spaces.

  • Publication number: 20170297228
Abstract: A system and method for thermoforming of non-woven fabric is presented. The system includes an air supply, a heating system in fluid communication with the air supply, a pressure and flow equalization element in fluid communication with the heating system, electrical controls in communication with the heating system and the pressure and flow equalization element, a pneumatic element in fluid communication with the pressure and flow equalization element, and a forming head for receiving a thermoformable non-woven fabric and for thermoforming said thermoformable non-woven fabric into a desired shape. The thermoforming process is a two-stage process, a first stage comprises a pre-heat stage wherein a heated flow of air is directed onto the thermoformable non-woven fabric and the second stage comprises flowing a continuous amount of air to increase an amount of heat available to the thermoformable non-woven fabric during thermoforming.

  • Patent number: 6233532
Abstract: A sensor assembly and a method for sensing physical conditions and reporting on the same are disclosed. The sensor assembly comprises an electronic sensor, a dedicated signal conditioner and a dedicated ADC, all integrated directly with the electronic sensor into a single pre-assembled and pre-calibrated package. The sensor assembly also comprises transponder apparatus for enabling the sensor assembly to adapt its output signal so as to properly match the specific input requirements of a particular digital controller. More particularly, the sensor assembly's transponder apparatus is constructed so as to measure the time duration of a programming pulse sent to the sensor assembly (the “Controller Programming Pulse”, or “CPP”), and then to use the time duration of the CPP to generate a time-proportioned reporting pulse (“the Sensor Reporting Pulse”, or “SRP”) so as to report sensor data to the digital controller.

  • Patent number: 5908597
Abstract: A molded article ejection device for use in conjunction with a multistation molding machine. The multistation molding machine has at least a first molding station defined between a first mold platen and a second mold platen and a second molding station defined between the second mold platen and a third mold platen, a mechanism for opening and closing the molding stations, and tie bars for connecting the first, second and third mold platens. Ejection devices are used for ejecting molded articles from each of the first and second molding stations and a linkage is used for connecting a plurality of the ejection devices and translating movement of at least one ejection device to at least one other ejection device. A motive mechanism is used for actuating the ejection devices, wherein the motive mechanism is independent of the mechanism for opening and closing.

  • Patent number: 5528826
Abstract: In the handling of printed wiring board innerlayer panels which have a thin copper-clad substrate, the protective foil layer is retained thereon to aid in stiffening the panel during processing up to the final stacking for multilayer lamination. At an intermediate step, the circuit patterns are inspected and defective patterns are replaced by operative patterns during the stacking process prior to multilayer lamination.
