  • Patent number: 6024781
Abstract: Carbon dioxide is separated from gaseous hydrocarbons by a cyclic adsorption process using at a temperature in the range of about -50 to about 200.degree. C., wherein the adsorption step of the process is conducted by passing the gas mixture through an adsorption zone containing carbon molecular sieve or type A zeolite whose exchangeable cations are made up of about 50 to about 90% sodium ions and about 10 to about 50 percent potassium ions.

  • Patent number: 5745680
Abstract: A method and apparatus for interconnecting first and second networks that use the same protocols for communications by a third network. The third network is defined in the first and second networks as a single virtual communications link of the native type used by the first and second networks. In response to requests from initiating nodes in the first and second networks to communicate with destination nodes in the other of the first and second networks, routing computation services in the first and second networks compute routes through the first and second networks that will connect the originating and destination nodes and that include the virtual link as such a route. The virtual link is also used to remotely support the communication needs of dependent nodes in the first and second networks that do not have the ability to establish communications sessions within the networks on their own.

  • Patent number: 4994914
Abstract: A composite video imaging device and related method are provided wherein a first and a second video signal, each of which respresents a plurality of lines of video data, are received and converted into corresponding first and second pixel data signals. The first and second pixel data signals are stored by a first and second storage means at a first and a second frequency, respectively, the loading of the first and second pixel data signals occurring independent of one another to permit the first and second pixel data signals to correspond to first and second video signals with different line and/or frame frequenices. Control means are provided for selecting the first or the second pixel data signal for each pixel to be displayed on a monitor and for delivering each selected pixel data signal to the monitor for display of a resultant composite video image.

  • Patent number: 4656693
Abstract: An apparatus for field dressing small game animals comprises a base and means for immobilizing the base by attachment to a supporting structure such as a tree. An elongated rod member having two end portions is affixed rigidly to the base at spaced apart positions, the points of attachment defining substantially a perpendicular angle with the base plate, the rod having a central portion which is spaced from the base plate. The central portion includes a generally U-shaped section defined by a 180.degree. bend of the rod. A pair of spikes spaced on opposite sides of the loop and extending generally forwardly of the base supports the hind legs of a small game animal carcass.

  • Patent number: 4581910
Abstract: A puzzle key holder for use with two key rings. The holder includes a main body and an auxiliary body, each of which receives a key ring. Complementary sockets and pins are formed in the abutting edges of the bodies to normally retain such bodies as an integral member. The bodies are relatively moveable relative to one another so as to become disengaged from one another. Such disengagement can only be effected by person's having knowledge of the relative motions necessary to effect such disengagement.

  • Patent number: 4414865
Abstract: A combined opener for removing a twist-off bottle cap and the lift-off tab of a beverage can. The opener body is provided with a downwardly opening recess formed with protuberances adapted to complementarily mate with the knurls of a twist-off bottle cap.
