  • Publication number: 20080269408
Abstract: A process comprising polymerizing at least one fluorinated monomer in an aqueous medium containing initiator and polymerization agent to form an aqueous dispersion of particles of fluoropolymer, the polymerization agent comprising: fluoropolyether acid or salt thereof having a number average molecular weight of at least about 800 g/mol; and fluorosurfactant having the formula: [R1—On-L-A?]Y+ wherein: R1 is a linear or branched partially or fully fluorinated aliphatic group which may contain ether linkages; n is 0 or 1; L is a linear or branched alkylene group which may be nonfluorinated, partially fluorinated or fully fluorinated and which may contain ether linkages; A? is an anionic group selected from the group consisting of carboxylate, sulfonate, sulfonamide anion, and phosphonate; and Y+ is hydrogen, ammonium or alkali metal cation; with the proviso that the chain length of R1—On-L- is not greater than 6 atoms.

  • Publication number: 20060113999
Abstract: An ignition timing device for measuring ignition timing that includes a focused light source, a securing member, an ignition indication sensor, and a control box. The focused light source permanently or removably attaches to an engine or engine compartment in close proximity to a rotating portion of the engine having marks that, when aligned with fixed timing marks or a reflection point, indicate ignition timing. The ignition timing device flashes the focused light source in response to receiving ignition detection signals from the ignition indication sensor. The control box has a capability to advance or retard the flashing of the focused light source in response to the ignition signal to allow advance or retard of engine ignition timing through, for example, adjustment to the distributor of the engine.

  • Patent number: 6234155
Abstract: A low power or current draw adjustable trigger switch and method and system for using the adjustable trigger switch in conjunction with a triggered accessory for an internal combustion engine, such as a feed from a source of compressed oxygen enhancer, such as nitrous oxide. The adjustable trigger switch, in operation in conjunction with the triggered accessory, allows selective activation of the accessory to, for example, improve engine performance. In one application, the triggering occurs via an engine electrical output, such as a throttle position sensor (TPS) voltage. The trigger, which includes, for example, an operational amplifier circuit, logic gates, or a series of transistors (e.g.

  • Patent number: 4955906
Abstract: The instant invention is directed to a mammary prosthesis injector. The injector comprises a hollow tube having an opening at one end thereof. A bag for holding the prosthesis and reducing friction between the tube and the prosthesis is located, in part, within the tube. A mechanism for pulling the bag from within the tube is slidably mounted on the exterior of the tube and engages the bag. The prosthesis, which is held within the bag which is within the tube, is ejected from the tube and through the opening when the pulling mechanism is slid along the exterior of the tube.
