Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for conditioning and training, generally comprising a floor portion and at least one guide within a line of sight of the floor portion. The guide is configured to display training programs for a user to use to improve sports skills, such as hockey skills for example. In an embodiment, the floor portion has RFID tags to determine where a puck or other object is located. In another embodiment, the system has an apparatus to determine, verify or display a puck location. The apparatus can be either a camera or an AR unit such as glasses. Based on information provided and received, the system can tailor exercises for a user and provide enhanced statistics to improve skills.

Abstract: There is provided a device for assistance with maintenance for an aircraft engine, including computer means; display means; and a human-machine interface. The human-machine interface includes remote movement recognition means to remotely identify a movement or a position of a human operator and to provide corresponding identification data; and a control module, to provide a control command to the computer means in response to the identification data. The computer means are designed to control the display on the display means, of assistance information for maintenance of an aircraft engine, in response to the control command. The computer means are also designed to control holding the content of a display shown on the display means. A method used with such a device is also provided.

Abstract: A reusable target device is used on with a golf swing practice mat having a teeing aperture formed therein to take the place of the collapsible tee conventionally used for teeing a practice golf ball thereon. The target device has i) a base flange portion received below the practice mat, ii) a stem portion extending upwardly from the base flange portion through the teeing aperture in the practice mat, and iii) a target portion supported at the top of the stem portion to simulate a golf ball to be struck during a practice swing. The base flange portion, the stem portion and the target portion are integrally and seamlessly formed with one another of a resilient material with a hollow passage arranged to be externally vented and collapsed upon impact by a swinging golf club.

Abstract: A hoisting device of a section of a rope for a mechanical ski-lift installation comprises on the one hand a lifting element designed to be positioned pressing against the rope and on the other hand means for moving the lifting element in a first direction. The lifting element is formed by a sleeve having a main axis oriented in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, designed to be positioned around the rope section. The sleeve comprises a top shell having connection means connecting with the means for moving, a bottom shell having a support dish designed to be positioned pressing underneath said rope section, the two shells comprising complementary guiding elements for assembly by sliding in the second direction, and securing means disabling sliding between the two shells after assembly.

Abstract: The invention relates to low-glycemic alcoholic beverages comprising a low-glycemic syrup and an alcohol-containing ingredient. The low-glycemic syrup comprises a) an essence of a food, b) a low-glycemic component capable of extracting an essence from a food, and c) an extraction enhancer.

Abstract: Magnetic characters arranged in a row on a check are read in an apparatus effecting relative linear displacement between the check and a magnetic reader. The displacement is effected either by manually removing the check from the apparatus, or by manually moving the reader.

Abstract: A bill publishing apparatus is disclosed, for payment by use of a bank ca including an element for receiving a bank card, an element for receiving a bill, a printing drum with rotary wheels each carrying a series of characters and a mobile carriage carrying a printing roller. Each drum wheel is fast for rotation with a coding disk carrying a series of codes associated respectively with the characters of the wheel. An element for reading the codes and an element controlled by the reading element are provided for recording an angular positions of the wheels and so values of the characters.

Abstract: System constituted by a reading and/or writing apparatus and a removable sette for the latter, provided respectively with two couplable connector elements. The apparatus is equipped with a fixed guide member and a drive member mounted on a movable lever and both members are adapted to cooperate with a trough of the cassette to ensure rectilinear driving of the latter and correct cooperation of the two connector elements during the positioning or the extraction of the cassette.
