  • Publication number: 20230252226
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to a compression scheme for stable universally unique identities in a collaborative editing environment. A client receives edits to a document and immediately creates a local short identity for an element of each edit, whereby the local short identity represents an offset from a base unique identity associated with the client from which a unique identifier assigned to the element is derivable. The local short identity information including the local short identity for each element is transmitted to a server. Subsequently, global short identity information is received from the server from which one or more global short identities that each map to a local short identity of a client of a plurality of clients collaborating on the document can be determined by the client. Each global short identity is a compact identity that is universally unique to the plurality of clients including the client.

  • Publication number: 20230248775
Abstract: Microglia/monocytes exist within a ‘niche’ which limits the total number of microglia/monocytes/macrophages that reside within a mammalian central nervous system (CNS). Therefore, methods are needed that can help therapeutically modify microglia, monocytes, and macrophages or the cells that give rise to them to compete with endogenous microglia and partially or completely occupy the CNS niche. The present disclosure features therapeutic microglia, monocytes, or macrophages that have a selective advantage in comparison to endogenous brain resident microglia in their response to CSF1R inhibitors. Specifically, therapeutic cells developed in the present disclosure do not die at a given dose of CSF1R inhibitor that is sufficient to kill endogenous microglia. The therapeutic cells described herein can be used to treat neurological diseases.

  • Publication number: 20230250633
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a solar panel or solar tile; and a pultrusion fiber reinforced polymer (PFRP) bracket connected to the solar panel or solar tile. The PFRP bracket mounts the solar panel or solar tile on a roof, and is configured to elevate the solar panel or solar tile a sufficient amount above the roof to enable airflow to occur under the solar panel or solar tile. The PFRP material comprises fibers embedded in a resin matrix. Exemplary fibers are glass, carbon, and synthetic fibers. PFRP products can be formed using a pultrusion method that eliminates outgassing. An intumescent fire barrier can be applied to the PFRP to meet National Fire Protection Association fire endurance codes and standards.

  • Publication number: 20230251032
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for processing liquefied natural gas (LNG). In one implementation, a solvent is injected into a feed of natural gas at a solvent injection point. A mixed feed is produced from a dispersal of the solvent into the feed of natural gas. The mixed feed contains heavy components. A chilled feed is produced by chilling the mixed feed. The chilled feed includes a vapor and a condensed liquid. The condensed liquid contains a fouling portion of the heavy components condensed by the solvent during chilling. The liquid containing the fouling portion of the heavy components is separated from the vapor. The vapor is directed into a feed chiller heat exchanger following separation of the liquid containing the fouling portion of the heavy components from the vapor, such that the vapor being directed into feed chiller heat exchanger is free of freezing components.

  • Publication number: 20230252968
Abstract: An acoustic noise reduction (ANR) headphone described herein has current detection circuitry that detects current consumed by an acoustic driver amplifier as a result of pressure changes due to a tapping of the headphone. Tapping may be performed to change an audio feature or operating mode of the audio system for the headphone. The current detection circuitry senses a characteristic of the current consumed by the acoustic driver amplifier that can be used to determine an occurrence of a tap event. Examples of a characteristic include an amplitude, waveform or duration of the sensed current. Advantageously, the ANR headphones avoid the need for control buttons to initiate the desired changes to the audio feature or operating mode.
