  • Patent number: 11627638
Abstract: An integrated system is described. This integrated system includes: a radio node that communicates using a cellular-telephone communication protocol; and an access point that communicates using an IEEE 802.11 communication protocol. Moreover, the integrated system includes a housing between the radio node and the access point, where the housing provides mechanical coupling and electrical coupling between the radio node and the access point, and the housing provides electrical power and data to the access point from the radio node. For example, the housing may provide the electrical power and the data using a PoE cable. In some embodiments, the radio node dynamically modifies the electrical power provided to the access point or receives, from a controller, an instruction specifying the electrical power to be provided to the access point.

  • Patent number: 11626734
Abstract: An energy management system for a recreational vehicle incudes a housing; a plurality of outputs, each output having an associated electrical parameter; and a circuit assembly arranged within the housing. The circuit assembly includes a power converter configured to receive AC power and supply DC power to one or more of the outputs; a plurality of relays, each relay being associated with a corresponding output; and a controller configured to configured to perform a load shedding operation in response to a first load condition being satisfied. The first load condition requires that a total parameter is equal to or above a first predetermined load threshold, the total parameter being a total value of the associated electrical parameters of the outputs. The load shedding operation sequentially opens any closed relays according to a predetermined opening scheme until the total parameter is below the first predetermined load threshold.

  • Patent number: 11627407
Abstract: A speaker device includes a bass driver mounted in the internal space of an enclosure for generating a bass output. The bass driver has a central axis along which a piston area of the bass driver actuates oriented at an oblique angle relative to the bottom end of the enclosure to increase bass driver size and acoustic output and to reduce acoustic frequency distortion by providing a varying distance between the bass driver and the top and bottom ends of the enclosure. An elastomeric reflector-damper plate is spaced apart from the bass driver in the internal space in the enclosure. The reflector-damper plate radially disperses low to midrange audio frequencies of the bass output of the bass driver around the enclosure to further reduce acoustic frequency distortion. Electronic subsystems in the internal space coupled to the bass driver receive and process input audio signals to be rendered by the bass driver.

  • Patent number: 11623037
Abstract: The subject invention provides a drug delivery device for injecting medicament which includes a tubular reservoir; a stopper slidably disposed in the reservoir; a spring for moving the stopper in the reservoir; at least one needle, the needle having a distal end for insertion into a patient, and a lumen extending proximally from the distal end, the lumen being in direct or indirect communication with the reservoir; a needle driver for displacing the needle; and an actuator. Activation of the actuator causes the spring to move the stopper and the needle driver to displace the needle. The needle moves relative to, and separately from, the reservoir with the needle being displaced. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a drug delivery device is provided wherein a needle is moved, relative to the reservoir, in being displaced for injection. This permits control of the needle displacement separate from the reservoir.
