  • Patent number: 11057287
Abstract: In some embodiments, an amount of aggregated bandwidth consumption for a set of computing devices on a network may be determined for a first time period. An amount of available bandwidth on the network may be determined for the first time period. A ratio of the amount of aggregated bandwidth consumption to the amount of available bandwidth may be determined. A bandwidth threshold may be determined based on the ratio. A rate limit for a first computing device (of the set of computing devices) may be set based on a comparison of the bandwidth threshold to bandwidth consumption of the first computing device.

  • Publication number: 20210200950
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed herein for intelligent defect analysis. In an aspect, a client environment is monitored for defects. Upon detecting and identifying a defect, the defect is analyzed using natural language processing in order to identify one or more keywords associated with the system defect. A historical record associated with the one or more keywords is identified and one or more solutions associated with the historical record are identified based on the keywords. The keywords and associated solutions may then be displayed as a notification on a graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20210199801
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for occlusion detection. One example method involves a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) device scanning at least a portion of an external structure within a field-of-view (FOV) of the LIDAR device. The LIDAR device is physically coupled to the external structure. The scanning comprises transmitting light pulses toward the external structure through an optical window, and receiving reflected light pulses through the optical window. The reflected light pulses comprise reflections of the transmitted light pulses returning back to the LIDAR device from the external structure. The method also involves detecting presence of an occlusion that at least partially occludes the LIDAR device from scanning the FOV based on at least the scan of the at least portion of the external structure.

  • Publication number: 20210197497
Abstract: A method for joining moulded parts by electromagnetic welding. A joining inductor is moved along contact surfaces of the moulded parts, generating an electromagnetic field in an induction-sensitive component of the moulded part(s) to heat a thermally activated coupling means of the moulded part(s) to above a melting temperature of the coupling means. The strength of the electromagnetic field suitable for joining is determined by previously moving a sensing inductor along the contact plane, generating a relatively weak electromagnetic field to slightly heat the thermally activated coupling means to a sensing temperature, measuring the field strength generated by the sensing inductor in the moulded part(s), determining a discrepancy between the measured field strength of the sensing inductor and the field strength suitable for joining, and adjusting the field strength suitable for joining to close the discrepancy. A device for carrying out the method.

  • Publication number: 20210202741
Abstract: An SOI wafer contains a compressively stressed buried insulator structure. In one example, the stressed buried insulator (BOX) may be formed on a host wafer by forming silicon oxide, silicon nitride and silicon oxide layers so that the silicon nitride layer is compressively stressed. Wafer bonding provides the surface silicon layer over the stressed insulator layer. Preferred implementations of the invention form MOS transistors by etching isolation trenches into a preferred SOI substrate having a stressed BOX structure to define transistor active areas on the surface of the SOI substrate. Most preferably the trenches are formed deep enough to penetrate through the stressed BOX structure and some distance into the underlying silicon portion of the substrate. The overlying silicon active regions will have tensile stress induced due to elastic edge relaxation.
