Abstract: Techniques for recommending plans to remediate a network topologies are disclosed. The techniques include logging network topology information identifying relationships between entities in a network topology over a number of time periods. The techniques also include, using the logged network topology information, predicting characteristics of the network at a future time period. The techniques further include computing a signature based on the predicted characteristics and, using the signature, determining whether the predicted characteristics meet remediation criteria. Additionally, the techniques include, in response to determining the predicted characteristics meet the remediation criteria, determining a remediation plan for the current network topology and presenting the plan to a user.

  • Publication number: 20240288013
Abstract: Disclosed cyclonic flow-inducing pumps overcome drawbacks associated with known adverse flow conditions that arise from flow of certain types of materials through a material flow conduit. Such cyclonic flow-inducing pumps provide for flow of flowable material within a flow passage of a material flow conduit (e.g., a portion of a pipeline, tubing or the like) to have a cyclonic flow (i.e., vortex or swirling) profile. Advantageously, the cyclonic flow profile centralizes flow toward the central portion of the flow passage, thereby reducing magnitude of laminar flow. Such cyclonic flow profile provides a variety of other advantages as compared to a parabolic flow profile such as, for example, increased flow rate, reduce inner pipeline wear, more uniform inner pipe wear, reduction in energy consumption, reduced or eliminated adverse considerations such as slugging.

  • Publication number: 20240292329
Abstract: A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, from a second WTRU, sidelink control information (SCI), including first information indicating if a resource is reserved by the second WTRU, and second information indicating if the second WTRU is a power saving or non-power saving. The first WTRU may measure a reference signal receive power (RSRP) of signals transmitted by the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add a resource to a set of available resources if the first information indicates that the resource is not reserved by the second WTRU. If a resource is reserved, the WTRU may set an RSRP threshold to a first set or second threshold based on a power saving mode of the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add the resource to the set of available resources if the measured RSRP is less than the selected RSRP threshold.
