  • Patent number: 7826388
Abstract: An interface device system includes a first transceiver, a second transceiver, and a controller for receiving an input signal and detecting whether a predetermined type of network connection exists. The controller selectively transmits a first signal or a second signal that corresponds to the input signal. The controller transmits the first signal over the first transceiver in response to absence of the predetermined type of network connection. The controller transmits the second signal over a second transceiver in response to existence of the predetermined type of network connection.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 11, 2006
Date of Patent: November 2, 2010
    Assignee: ArvinMeritor Technology, LLC
Inventors: Ali Fani Maleki, Vern A. Caron, Paul C. Guenther, Jeffrey Schoenhals

  • Patent number: 7014016
Abstract: A brake actuator assembly includes a sensor mounted to a push rod which is in communication with a transceiver antenna. The sensor provides positional information of the push rod relative to the antenna. A clearance between a friction element and a rotating brake member is determined based on displacement of the push rod and known mechanical relationships within the brake actuator.
