  • Publication number: 20090203273
Abstract: A cooling apparatus for a marine propulsion system outdrive unit that can be attached to an outdrive unit without the need to drill holes in any portion of the outdrive unit. The cooling apparatus has a distribution tube assembly with at least one pickup port and a water delivery feature such as dump ports, the pickup port being open to receive cooling water into the distribution tube assembly when mounted on a marine propulsion system outdrive unit and the water delivery feature positioned to face the drive unit for delivering cooling water from the distribution tube assembly to the outdrive unit. A no drill bracket attached to the distribution tube assembly attaches to the lift ram assembly shaft of the outdrive unit, and an upper mounting bracket that is attached to the distribution tube assembly attaches to the outdrive unit.

  • Patent number: 6341786
Abstract: A ski board apparatus for ski boarding down a slope. The ski board apparatus includes a board for supporting a user. The board has a top surface, a bottom surface, a front edge, a back edge, a first side edge and second side edge. Two pairs of elongate runners each have a tapered end portion. Each of the tapered end portions is turned upwards out of a plane of the runners. A pair of mountings mount the runners to the board. One pair of runners is located in front of a second pair of runners such that one of the runners from a front pair of the runners generally shares a longitudinal axis with one of the runners of a rear pair of the runners, wherein a front pair of runners and a back pair of runners are defined.

  • Patent number: 6241566
Abstract: Cooling apparatus for the stern drive unit of a marine inboard-outboard drive system, the cooling apparatus being of the kind making use of the ram effect and having an intake tube carried on the stern drive unit with its intake end in the water. The tube has an intake port held below the water surface for accepting water by the ram effect while the boat is moving forward. The water is carried by the tube to a system for delivering water from the intake tube to the stern drive unit for cooling it. According to the invention the bottom of the intake tube is closed and the intake port is formed closely adjacent to the bottom of the tube in a selected part of its wall facing forwardly when the boat is in forward motion.
