  • Publication number: 20210075680
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for solving the problem of efficient reuse of internet-of-things (IoT) devices deployed in temporary applications. According to one embodiment, a method is implemented on a computing device. The method includes receiving, over a wide area network (WAN) from a mobile device, a device identification (ID) associated with an IoT device. The method further includes determining first digital rights management (DRM) privileges for the IoT device based on the device ID. The first DRM privileges are associated with a first entity and a first timestamp. The method further includes receiving, over the WAN from the mobile device, a first request to provide second DRM privileges for the IoT device. The second DRM privileges are associated with a second entity and a second timestamp. The method further includes granting the second DRM privileges based at least partially on a permission from the first entity.

  • Patent number: 8821231
Abstract: Methods and system include obtaining attributes of athletic players from one or more sources. The attributes define statistics of the athletic players. Minimum requirements are determined for teams organized in a group. A listing is generated for each team in the group. The listing includes a plurality of entries wherein each entry is configured to present attributes of an athletic player or a team that is part of the group. Select ones of the plurality of entries in the listing are static and select ones of the entries are dynamic. The entries that are static are used to provide minimum requirements defined for each team in the group and the entries that are dynamic are used to provide attributes of the teams or the athletic players. The dynamic entries are adjusted during a drafting process to provide current status of the teams and the athletic players.

  • Patent number: 8621354
Abstract: A computer (2) is used to prepare a script (4) of prompts for a media capture device (6) such as a cell phone or a self interview kit. Discrete prompts of the script arc displayed. A camera (14) then captures video clips or other assets with each video clip corresponding to one or more displayed prompt. A clip storage module (18) stores each recorded video clip in a storage unit (20) so as to be related to its corresponding discrete prompts. The clip to prompt relationship provided by the storage module (18) facilitates the editing of the clips into a sequence to produce a complete video presentation or movie. The final video sequence compilation can be performed automatically using the script to define the order of each clip. The automatically edited video sequence may be ordered non-sequentially with respect to the order of the presentation of the discrete prompts.

  • Patent number: 8475249
Abstract: Methods and system for presenting a plurality of attributes of a plurality of players from a plurality of teams that are part of a league includes obtaining a plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams. The plurality of attributes of the plurality of the players and of the teams is populated in one or more databases along with any updates to these attributes. The databases are queried to retrieve updated plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams. A roster grid is generated for the plurality of teams for rendering at a client in substantial real time. The roster grid displays the updated status of the plurality of attributes of the plurality of players and the plurality of teams simultaneously in a clean, concise and effective manner.

  • Publication number: 20080184131
Abstract: A computer system for a asset criticality system is provided. The computer system has a platform, at least one input device, and a central processing unit in communication with the platform and the at least one input device. The central processing unit is configured to receive project information from a user, asset population information about a project, and determine a plurality of available assets according to the received information. The central processing unit is also configured to generate asset information for the user based on the determined plurality of available assets and to provide at least one customized background display based on the received project and asset population information, and generated asset information. The central processing unit is further configured to enable the user to populate a customized background display by selectively adding individual assets and to individually rate the populated assets according to their criticality.

  • Publication number: 20060106259
Abstract: A catalyst system capable of catalysing the carbonylation of an olefinally unsaturated compound is described. The 5 catalyst system is obtainable by combining: (a) a metal of Group VIB or Group VIII B or a compound thereof; and (b) a bidentate phosphine of general formula (I) Ad)s(CR4R5R6)TQ2-A-(K,D)Ar(E,Z)-B-Q1(Ad)u(CR1R2R3)v. Ad represents an optionally substituted adamantyl radical bonded to the phosphorous atom via any one of its tertiary carbon atoms. A method of production of the catalyst is also illustrated.
