  • Patent number: 12219001
Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer-readable medium are provided for sending content from a source to a user device. The content is obtained from the source by an intermediate device as a plurality of fragments and a manifest, converted into larger chunks of data, encapsulated into a single file, and then sent over a network connection to the user device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 22, 2021
Date of Patent: February 4, 2025
    Assignee: Comcast Cable Communications, LLC
Inventors: Michael Bevilacqua-Linn, Sean Brown, Paul Cleary, Kristofer Tomasette, José Ibañez, Bradley Spenla
  • Publication number: 20220029998
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for managing DNS records. An intermediary device, such as a web portal or API, may be configured to communicate with a variety of domain name servers. The intermediary device may store authorization rules to verify commands from users to update records of the domain name servers. The authorization rules allow for users to have limited access to domain zones, domain records, domain servers, types of records, records associated with metadata, and other data. The domain name servers may store domain name records in a common data store allowing for extended searching and metadata tagging of data.

  • Publication number: 20060153879
Abstract: Novel vaccines for use against ?-hemolytic Streptococcus colonization or infection are disclosed. The vaccines contain an immunogenic amount of a variant of streptococcal C5a peptidase (SCP). Also disclosed is a method of protecting a susceptible mammal against ?-hemolytic Streptococcus colonization or infection by administering such a vaccine. Enzymatically inactive SCP, and polynucleotides encoding these SCP proteins are further disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20020030302
Abstract: A process for creating displayable imprints includes the steps of first adding water to a flexible container housing desiccated molding material, and mixing the water and molding material. The molding material is then poured into a mold which is configured to create a window. A predetermined object, such as a child's hands or feet, or a pet's paw, is imprinted in the molding material. The molding material is allowed to set, and a photograph is associated with the window by placing the photograph into a clear plastic insert having opposite faces which capture the photograph, and attaching the insert to the set molding material such that the photograph can be viewed through the window. The finished product can be displayed on an easel.
