  • Patent number: 5213132
Abstract: The valve comprises a shutter (8) constituted by a body of revolution housed in a chamber (4) also comprising a spring (15) maintaining the shutter in the closed position. The shutter (8) has a cylindrical portion provided with a leaktight seal (9) moving in a bore (5), a frustoconical portion (10) located facing a frustoconical portion (6) of the chamber and at least one passage (12, 13) between the frustoconical portion (6) and the front portion of the shutter. The valve is provided with an inlet conduit (16) emerging into the frustoconical portion (6) and an outlet conduit (17). A pressure in the inlet conduit (16) causes the shutter, whose frustoconical portion tends to close the inlet conduit (16), to move back. An equilibrium is produced between the pressure on the shutter (8) and the thrust of the spring (15).

  • Patent number: 5158215
Abstract: The lift valve comprises a body (1) in which is formed a cylindrical chamber (2) provided with a lateral inlet (14) and with an outlet (3). This chamber contains a piston (4) on which acts a spring (22) and which is solidly fixed to a rod (6) whose end constitutes a valve seal. The rod (6) is further provided with a cross-section reducer (9) formed, for example, by a perforated cylindrical bearing surface. The inlet aperture (14) opens out between the piston (4) and the cross-section reducer (9). The difference between the forces acting on the piston and on the cross-section reducer causes the piston to retract, thus opening the lift valve. The cross-section reducer seals the inlet aperture (14) to a greater or lesser extent.

  • Patent number: 4723725
Abstract: A pressure regulator-reducer in a first embodiment comprises two pistons (6, 7) provided with elastically deformable rings (9, 10) mounted in a bore (5) and held by a spring (12) bearing against a bulkhead packing (13) surrounding an outlet orifice (16). The double piston defines three chambers (19, 20, 21) respectively in communication with the product under pressure, the atmospheric pressure and the outlet. Facing the ring of the piston (6) on the outlet side there is provided a narrow longitudinal slot (24). A second pressure regulator-reducer is also disclosed that uses a slide mounted in a bore. The side has a piston and a spaced shoulder. The shoulder and piston controls flow along the bore to a dispensing orifice. A spring, mounted in the bore, controls the movement of the side in response to fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 4519528
Abstract: The spray head consists of a body in which two similar superposed and coupled valves are mounted (16,27). The shank (12) of the upper valve is rigid with a control knob (5) provided with a nozzle (14). The body further encloses a pressure-reducing device. The body has an orifice (36) connecting a compressed-gas reservoir to the lower valve, an orifice connecting the pressure-reducing device to the vessel and an orifice (23) connecting the vessel to the upper valve. The pressure-reducing device comprises a slide-type regulation valve. The spray head may be secured detachably or not to the compressed air reservoir, and also to the vessel.
