  • Patent number: 10960076
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a gummy dosage form including: an amino acid in an amount of about 20% by weight or greater; a hydrophilic bulking agent; and a hydrophilic long-chain polymer, wherein at least a portion of the hydrophilic long-chain polymer comprises low methoxyl pectin. The gummy dosage forms can further include additives such as flavorants, fiber, and pH-adjusters. The disclosure further comprises methods for preparing such gummy dosage forms, wherein a hydrophilic bulking agent, a hydrophilic long-chain polymer, and water are combined to give a mixture and heated to give a hydrocolloid system in the form of a slurry; mixing an amino acid with the slurry; and setting the resulting mixture to give the gummy dosage form.

  • Publication number: 20210057256
Abstract: A method for calibrating an aligner station of an electronics processing system is provided. A calibration is retrieved, by a first robot arm of a transfer chamber, from a processing chamber connected to the transfer chamber. The calibration object has a target orientation in the processing chamber. The calibration is placed, by the first robot art, in a load lock connected to the transfer chamber. The calibration is retrieved from the load lock by a second robot arm of a factory interface connected to the load lock. The calibration object is placed, by the second robot arm, at an aligner station housed in or connected to the factory interface. The calibration object has a first orientation at the aligner station. A difference is determined between the first orientation at the aligner station and an initial target orientation at the aligner station. The initial target orientation at the aligner station is associated with the target orientation in the processing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20210039467
Abstract: A method for controlling vehicle motion is described. The method includes accessing a set of control signals including a measured vehicle speed value associated with a movement of a vehicle. A control signal associated with user-induced input is also accessed. The method compares the measured vehicle speed value with a predetermined vehicle speed threshold value to achieve a speed value threshold approach status, and then compares the set of values to achieve a user-induced input threshold value approach status. The method monitors a state of a valve within the vehicle suspension damper, and determines a control mode for the vehicle suspension damper. The method also regulates damping forces within the vehicle suspension damper.

  • Publication number: 20200393939
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for generating a personalized radio channel playlist by simultaneously buffering multiple received channels from one or more source streams, and then selecting songs or tracks to playback from the buffered channels. Users can specify favorite channels for building their personal playlists, or multiple default playlist channels can be provided by genre or channels related in some other way. Navigation tools permit users to skip ahead and backward in the playback stream. A personalized radio channel playlist can be implemented as (1) content selected from buffered channels based on user preferences for artists, songs and the like, or (2) as a Mix Channel in which content from selected buffered channels is automatically mixed for playback in response to selection of a preset button assigned to the Mix Channel.

  • Publication number: 20200392827
Abstract: A method for optimizing pressure exchange includes providing a first pressure exchange system comprising an energy recovery device (ERD). A second system supplies high-pressure fluid, energized by a positive displacement pump, to the ERD. A third system supplies low-pressure fluid to the ERD. The first system energizes the low-pressure fluid with the high-pressure fluid to form a high-pressure fracking fluid, which is delivered from the first system to a well-head. A rate of required flow is input into a control system, which determines a rate of flow of the high-pressure fluid, a rate of flow of the low-pressure fluid, and an actual rate of flow of the fracking fluid at the well-head. The control system then adjusts to equilibrium: the rate of flow of the high-pressure fluid based on the actual rate of flow; and the rate of flow of the low-pressure fluid based on the actual rate of flow.

  • Publication number: 20200350073
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems suitable for use in identifying and providing personalised medicine to a patient. In some aspects, systems and method generate a co-therapy regimen for a patient suffering from a disease or condition. An identification of a co-therapy suitable to treat the disease or condition is received. A desired patient endpoint and a patient position are received, wherein the patient position is defined relative to the desired patient endpoint. A dataset relating to the patient is stored. The dataset comprises one or more patient data based on patient-related measurements. The dataset, the patient position and the desired patient endpoint are processed to generate a regimen for the co-therapy. The regimen is stored in a database.

  • Publication number: 20200345299
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring patient compliance with a dosage regimen. In some aspects, a patient unique identifier, which enables a patient to be uniquely identified and associated with a patient record, is received. A message is received. The message includes a package unique identifier that enables a package that a drug administered to the patient was stored within to be uniquely identified. The message includes at least one pair of values, wherein each pair of values corresponds to an administration event and indicates an amount of the drug administered to the patient and a time of administration of the amount of the drug to the patient. The drug administered to the patient using the package unique identifier is identified. The identity of the drug and the at least one pair of values are stored against the patient record, which includes a dosage regimen associated with the patient.
