  • Publication number: 20160319976
Abstract: An anti-siphon arrangement for a hydraulic system with a reservoir includes first and second flow paths providing hydraulic communication between the reservoir and a lower area. Each flow path includes an anti-siphon portion extending at least partly above a fluid level of the reservoir. First and second valves are configured, when configured in open states, to allow gas to flow from a gas source to the anti-siphon portions of the first and second flow paths, respectively.

  • Patent number: 8079204
Abstract: An agricultural harvester includes a feeder house drivably coupled to a power source. The feeder house has a housing frame. A faceplate is pivotally coupled to the housing frame to facilitate a pivoting of the faceplate relative to the housing frame. A hydraulic cylinder has a first end connected to the housing frame and a second end coupled to the faceplate to facilitate movement of the faceplate relative to the housing frame. The hydraulic cylinder has a plurality of hydraulic ports for facilitating movement of the operating piston of the hydraulic cylinder, with at least a first hydraulic port of the plurality of hydraulic ports being connected in fluid communication with a hydraulic power system. A first accumulator containing a compressible gas charge is connected in fluid communication with the first hydraulic port of the hydraulic cylinder.

  • Patent number: 8038518
Abstract: An agricultural combine includes a supporting structure. A work assembly is coupled to the supporting structure. The work assembly has a plurality of components to assist in the performing of crop processing operations. The work assembly is configured to define an air stream path. The work assembly has at least one rotary component that generates an air stream that flows through the air stream path to aid in crop processing in the work assembly. A fluid system is configured to circulate a fluid. The fluid system includes a fluid cooler that is positioned at a location in the air stream path to provide cooling of the fluid.
