    Abstract: A seal assembly for a bearing chamber of a gas turbine engine. The seal assembly includes a seal land having a sealing surface and a non-sealing surface, and at least one non-contact seal member having a sealing surface and a non-sealing surface. The opposing sealing surfaces define a fluid flow path for a sealing fluid such as air from a compressor of the gas turbine engine. The seal assembly includes a sealing fluid cooling arrangement comprising an oil jet configured to provide cooling oil to one or both of the seal member and the seal runner non-sealing surfaces.
