The splitter is operable to split the DSSS signal into a first DSSS signal and a second DSSS signal. The first multiplier is operable to multiply the first DSSS signal by a shuffled pseudo-noise sequence and a sine function to obtain a first correlation value. The second multiplier is operable to multiply the second DSSS signal by the shuffled pseudo-noise sequence and a cosine function to obtain a second correlation value. The processor is operable to determine an alignment delay based on the first correlation value and the second correlation value.

The card input may be located on a same lateral side of the temporary card-storage area as a lateral side of the temporary card-storage area on which the card output is located. A processor may be in communication with a graphic display, with touch screen controls integrated in the graphic display. The graphic display may be configured to automatically display information from the shuffler. The touch screen controls may be configured to receive user-inputted data to send to the processor to affect at least one of performance, activity and mode of operation of the shuffler. The graphic display may be located on a lateral side of the temporary card-storage area opposite the lateral side of the temporary card-storage area on which the card input and the card output are located.

A system comprising a solution of water, a microelectromechanical system device including a sacrificial layer of chromium deposited on the surface of a substrate between a portion of a structural layer and a base. The microelectromechanical system device is submerged in the solution of water. An electrode is submerged in the water. The electrode provides a negative bias. A voltage source provides a positive bias to the sacrificial layer of chromium, anodically etching the sacrificial layer of chromium and freeing the portion of the structural layer.

The semi-enclosure has an inlet channel that extends inwardly into the vacuum chamber from an exterior opening (entryway) into the semi-enclosure. An uncured entryway vacuum sealant is provided at the entryway for the semi-enclosure. A vacuum is established in the vacuum chamber until the vacuum pressure reaches a desired vacuum pressure that causes the uncured entryway sealant to be provided to the entryway for the semi-enclosure. The uncured entryway vacuum sealant is cured under vacuum pressure in the semi-enclosure in the vacuum chamber.
