  • Publication number: 20230325498
Abstract: A system and method for accelerating a configuration and deployment of automated alert suppression instructions using a cybersecurity alert detection and response platform includes constructing a computer-executable alert suppression instruction based on a subset of a plurality of distinct pieces of alert data corresponding to a target cybersecurity alert; performing one or more alert suppression simulations based on the computer-executable alert suppression instruction, wherein each of the one or more alert suppression simulations include: automatically assessing a corpus of historical cybersecurity alert data of a predetermined time span against the computer-executable alert suppression instruction; and automatically computing a plurality of distinct cybersecurity threat-informative simulation metrics based on the automatic assessing; and implementing the computer-executable alert suppression instruction into a target subscriber-specific cybersecurity environment of the cybersecurity alert detection and res

  • Publication number: 20230289438
Abstract: A system and method for generating event-specific handling instructions for accelerating a threat mitigation of a cybersecurity event includes identifying a cybersecurity event; generating a cybersecurity event digest based on the cybersecurity event, computing a cybersecurity hashing-based signature of the cybersecurity event based on the cybersecurity event digest; searching, based on the distinct cybersecurity hashing-based signature of the cybersecurity event, an n-dimensional space comprising a plurality of historical cybersecurity event hashing-based signatures; returning one or more historical cybersecurity events or historical cybersecurity alerts homogeneous to the cybersecurity event based on the search; deriving one or more cybersecurity event-specific handling actions for the cybersecurity event based on identifying a threat handling action corresponding to each of the one or more historical cybersecurity events or historical cybersecurity alerts homogeneous to the cybersecurity event; and executi

  • Publication number: 20090315348
Abstract: A releasable access tool and method for use by disabled persons is provided which includes a chin-mounted pointer that can be engaged and disengaged by a user without assistance. The releasable access tool includes a chin cup and chin cushion, a means for suspending them from the neck of a disabled person, and a pointer affixed to the chin cup. Assistance is required in the placement of the releasable access tool around the neck of a user. Once the device is placed around the user's neck, the user mounts the chin cup and pointer to the user's chin by lowering the chin to contact the cup, then lifting the chin and head in a scooping motion. This stretches the neck suspension portion of the tool and pulls the chin cup firmly against the user's chin, allowing the user to manipulate object with the attached pointer using only the muscles of the face, head and neck.
