Abstract: A caregiver converge device and system associated with a patient room within a hospital are provided. The device and system include: an operating system configured to provide operational states of the caregiver converge device, the operational states provide work flow functionality for an assigned caregiver of a patient in the patient room; a touch screen display for displaying a user interface configured to facilitate the assigned caregiver utilizing the work flow functionality, the touch screen display configured to accept input from the assigned caregiver; and a caregiver proximity sensor configured to determine whether the assigned caregiver enters the patient room; where the operating system updates the work flow functionality for the assigned caregiver upon the caregiver proximity sensor determining the assigned caregiver enters the patient room.

Abstract: The present invention relates methods and compositions for treating interleukin-17 (IL-17) related conditions, such as IL-17A or IL-17F, or muteins thereof in patients having fibrosis using IL-17 antagonists, such as small molecule IL-17 antagonists or protein IL-17 antagonists, such as antibodies, including specified portions or variants, specific for at least one IL-17 protein, mutein or fragment thereof, including therapeutic formulations, administration and devices.

Abstract: A communications and IP network gateway interface unit is provided for use with educational systems in a classroom environment. The gateway interface is configured to communicate with an IP network, and includes a digital signal processing unit storing programs for processing encoded data signals received from the IP network to produce an enhanced audio output. The audio output can be coupled to a telephone interface and connection for telephony communication configured to produce a voice signal portion of the audio output. The gateway interface further includes ports for sending a program audio signal such as music to a set of speakers, and for receiving audio from a microphone. Interface ports for synchronizing a clock are also included, as well as call switches, message display boards, audio-visual displays, in-class computer terminals, and other devices used to enhance and secure the educational environment.
