  • Publication number: 20240056922
Abstract: Facilitating unified mobility management for metaverse and physical worlds in advanced networks is provided herein. Operations of a system include determining a change has occurred to a service parameter of a user equipment executing a metaverse experience. The metaverse experience can include a combination of first usage of a first resource selected from a first group of resources associated with a physical world and second usage of a second resource selected from a second group of resources associated with a virtual world. The operations can also include executing a mobility management microservice for the user equipment, wherein the mobility management microservice is selected based on a type of the change to the service parameter.

  • Publication number: 20240048454
Abstract: Facilitating metaverse service orchestration and hybrid software defining network control with policy enabled multiple input multiple output in advanced networks is provided herein. Operations of a system include identifying physical resources associated with a physical network and virtual resources associated with a virtual network. The physical resources and the virtual resources are determined to be utilized for fulfillment of a service request. The operations can also include combining the physical resources and the virtual resources into a composition of mixed resources. The composition of mixed resources can include the physical resources and the virtual resources. Further, the operations can include rendering, in a perceivable format, the composition of mixed resources in response to the service request.

  • Patent number: 9681481
Abstract: Mobile management in a cellular network utilizes the multipath-transfer control protocol (MP-TCP). A mobile device establishes a first multipath-transfer control protocol (MP-TCP) subflow to a corresponding node using a first internet protocol (IP) address corresponding to the mobile device. At least a portion of the first IP address is uniquely associated with the first coverage area. The mobile device establishes a second MP-TCP subflow using a second IP address corresponding to the mobile device while the mobile device is in an overlapped coverage area including a first portion of the first coverage area and a second portion of a second coverage area. At least a portion of the second IP address is uniquely associated with the second coverage area. The mobile node turns off the first subflow when the mobile node determines it has left the first coverage area.

  • Patent number: 3934796
Abstract: A damper, normally biased closed, in a flue of a heating system has an arm which is connected by linkage to an armature of a solenoid for opening the damper when a winding of the solenoid is energized by a heating system control. Switch means, engaged by the arm, is interposed between the heating system control and burner facilities of the heating system for preventing operation of the burner facilities when the damper is closed and for allowing operation of the burner facilities when the damper is open.
