Bill weights having mounting flanges with locking tabs for selective placement along a rearwall of the till as well as a pivotable auxiliary paper currency tray that permits storage of two different paper currencies in a single paper currency compartment are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A POS platform includes a substantially closed housing adapted to be seated on top of an associated cash drawer, with a first opening that is sized to receive the PC. The housing also has at least one second opening for permitting passage of cables between the PC and the peripherals. A top support is provided that has an upper surface with discrete areas for supporting the peripherals and at least one hole therein to permit passage of the cables between the peripherals and the PC. A hinge is provided for connecting the top support to the housing to permit the top support to pivot with respect to the housing, thus facilitating access to the PC and the cables connecting the PC and the peripherals.

    Abstract: A lock-down security box including a security box and a lock-down plate. The lock-down security box is adapted to be detachably anchored to a mounting surface such as a table, wall or the like. The lock-down plate is fixed to a mounting surface by inserting fasteners through apertures extending through the plate. The lock-down plate includes a first anchoring member and a bolt-receiving slot extending therethrough. The security box includes a top panel which is pivotally mounted to one of the side panels of the box. The top panel includes a first lock set associated therewith for providing controlled access to the enclosure of the security box. The bottom panel of the security box includes a second anchoring member mounted thereon. The bottom panel further includes a bolt-passage slot extending therethrough which is adapted to receive a deadbolt of a second lock set mounted to one of the side panels of the box.
