  • Patent number: 6096202
Abstract: Method and apparatus for optimizing the electrolytic production of a halogen in a water treatment system having a halogen salt dissolved therein. The flow rate to the electrolytic cell is maintained below a predetermined maximum beyond which the remaining flow is diverted from the cell. The flow going to the cell is monitored for flow rate, water temperature and conductivity and the operation of the electrolytic cell is adjusted in response.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 16, 1999
Date of Patent: August 1, 2000
    Assignee: Autopilot Systems, Inc.
    Inventor: Paul F. Fulmer

  • Patent number: 5802750
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for simulating a flying fish which includes a pump, piping connected to the pump, a tube bundle connected to an end of the piping opposite from the pump for dividing pressurized water within the piping into parallel section of flowing water thereby creating a columnarized flow, a rotating disc having apertures located adjacent to an end of the tube bundle from which the divided flow of water is ejected, the rotating disc creating alternating portions of deflected and projected water, the projected portions simulating a flying fish, particularly when the apparatus is situated in a first body of water and the projected portions are directed at a second body of water.

  • Patent number: 5287567
Abstract: A time shared arrangement for delivering spa water and pool water to a water heater is disclosed in which check valves respond to the presence of spa water and pool water pressure. Water drawn from the pool is diverted into two streams, one passes through a check valve to a water heater and the other passes through a check valve to a return line. The flow of pool water to the heater is isolated by a further check valve forced to a close position by the pressure of the pool water. Water drawn from the spa is diverted into two streams, one passes through a check valve to a water heater and the other passes through a check valve to a return line. The flow of spa water to the heater is isolated by a check valve forced is closed by the pressure of spa water.
