Abstract: A tennis racket with variable balance and weight comprised of a movable weight member adjustably slidable along an elongated guide member. The guide member is connected between the base of the string frame and the end of the handle which is gripped by the hand. The guide member may be threadedly connected to the end of the grip so that the tension in the guide member can be adjusted. The movement of the movable member from one position to another is effected by a simple thrust of a single finger against the movable member. The movable member is thus located instantaneously at any position on the guide member.
