    Abstract: Particle detector, wherein it comprises a ceramic body in one piece in which are sealingly embedded two concentric tubular electrodes which define between them an annular chamber filled with pressurized gas, and the electrical wires connecting the electrodes to the outside of the body.The invention also relates to a process for producing a particle detector by the wet or dry route.The particle detector, which is more particularly a neutron detector can be used with particular advantage in the core of a nuclear reactor.
