  • Patent number: 7328234
Abstract: A software architecture at a target computer is provided in which it is desired to trigger execution of target processes by an agent process which receives operation specifying data which has been autonomously generated by an initiating computer. The agent process parses this operation specifying data, which may be XML data, to identify the target processes concerned. The target processes are independent of the agent process and the agent process triggers their operation and passes any required parameter data to them. The target processes may also return data to the initiating computer via the agent process and embedded within the XML data structure.

  • Patent number: 7237222
Abstract: A data protocol permitting a source computer to initiate execution of an execution process on a destination computer uses XML data in which different complex data types correspond to different execution processes to be triggered. Parameter data to be used by the associated execution processes may be embedded within the corresponding complex data types.

  • Publication number: 20050226402
Abstract: The present invention is drawn to a call trace system and method that is simple to establish in a short amount of time. The call trace is implemented through a Web browser page which remotely programs central offices to trace calls to particular number. When a trace is established a message is sent back to the Web browser which displays the calling number, the called number and the central office detecting the call. Also, a page is sent to a pager which displays the traced information.
