  • Publication number: 20240144972
Abstract: An apparatus including a microphone, a speaker, and a processor. The speaker is configured to produce a sound that indicates an image capture device including the microphone is recording. The microphone is configured to receive the sound. The processor is configured to initiate a sound removal process to remove the sound, produce the sound through the speaker to indicate that the image capture device is recording a video that includes audio, and, after the sound is produced, stop the sound removal process.

  • Publication number: 20240056661
Abstract: Devices for active athermalization and lens position indexing include an image capture device that includes a lens assembly, a lens mount, a memory, a printed circuit board (PCB), an image sensor, a temperature sensor, and actuator, and a processor. The memory stores a calibration look up table (LUT) that includes focus positions across a temperature range. The image sensor may be disposed on the PCB. The temperature sensor measures a temperature of the lens assembly. The processor determines a position of the lens assembly relative to the image sensor to maintain a focus point over the temperature range based on the calibration LUT, the measured temperature, or both. The processor may be configured to transmit a control signal to the actuator to modify the position of the lens assembly relative to the image sensor to maintain the focus point based on the measured temperature.

  • Publication number: 20230179850
Abstract: In one aspect of the present disclosure, a digital image capturing device (DICD) is disclosed that includes a device body with a printed circuit board (PCB), and an integrated sensor-lens assembly (ISLA) that is configured for releasable connection to the device body. The PCB defines a plurality of openings that extend therethrough and includes a plurality of connector pins that are fixedly positioned within the openings. The ISLA includes at least one connective surface that is configured for contact with the connector pins to establish electrical communication between the device body and the ISLA.
