Abstract: A boat is provided with a steering arrangement comprising a main steering system and control-surface subsystem. The control-surface subsystem comprises a control-surface assembly attached to the stern of the boat and comprising a trim tab pivotally connected to the stern of the boat, and a skeg rotatably mounted by the trim tab. The control-surface assembly further comprises a trim-tab operating arrangement for pivoting the trim tab, and a skeg operating arrangement. The main steering system and the skeg operating arrangement can be selectively set to operate independently of each other, or in coordination with each other, in steering the boat.

Abstract: A door hinge assembly includes a vertical post secured to a bottom rail. An upper post hinge portion and a lower post hinge portion are secured to the post. Each post hinge portion includes: (i) a post mounting plate; and (ii) a bearing portion projecting outwardly from the post mounting plate. The bearing portion includes a base with a vertical base bore. The assembly also includes an upper door hinge portion and a lower door hinge portion. Each door hinge portion includes: (i) a block securable to a door frame; (ii) a barrel portion projecting outwardly from the block, the barrel portion having a vertical barrel bore; and (iii) an upper pivot pin and a lower pivot pin, where a first end of each pin is secured in the base bore and a second end pivots in the barrel bore. The upper pivot pin connects the upper post hinge portion to the upper door hinge portion, and the lower pivot pin connects the lower post hinge portion to the lower door hinge portion.

Abstract: A screening disk for use on a roller of a roller screen for screening an ore feed is disclosed, which includes first and second opposing side working surfaces, and provisions for mounting the screening disk on a shaft of the roller. At least one of the first and second side working surfaces has a plurality of protrusions operable to extend outwardly into an interstice between the applicable side working surface and a side working surface of an adjacent mounted screening disk. A spacer may be disposed in the one interstice for confining an extent of the one interstice to a region disposed generally between the third working surface and the shaft. A screening disk may have a keyway configured to receive a key for coupling the body of the screening disk to the shaft for rotation therewith.

The display unit includes a light source, and behind the display area a liquid crystal cell, a first polarizer and a second polarizer, the light source being configured to provide back-light illumination to the cell and the polarizers forming a pair of polarizers on opposite sides of the cell such that, in use, the first polarizer polarizes the illumination and the second polarizer either passes or blocks this illumination when the polarisation of the illumination is rotated by the cell. A first cover sheet extends over said cell, and a second cover sheet extends over the first cover sheet.

The separation conveyor includes a filter belt (12) including a feed side for receiving the mass or slurry and a filtrate side. The separation conveyor further includes a conveyor assembly (16) for conveying the filter belt, an overhead spray array (28) for spraying fluid downwards onto the slurry as it travels on the filter belt, and a lower spray array (30) for spraying fluid upwards against an underside of the belt. The upper and lower spray arrays are arranged in combination to assist in promoting separation of oversized particles on the feed side of the belt and undersized particles on the filtrate side of the belt.

The event notifications are sent to potential participants to an event. Potential participants that accept the event notification or otherwise request to join the event use the private identifier to submit content to a content sharing service. Based at least on the private identifiers associated with event participants, the content from event participants is selectively shared among the other event participants.

Abstract: A method and process line apparatus for processing a sized ore feed excavated from an ore deposit is disclosed. The method involves disposing a processing apparatus in a processing apparatus position relative to the ore deposit, and disposing a first mobile conveyor to receive a sized ore feed at a receiving location located along a length of the first mobile conveyor. The first mobile conveyor is operable to convey the sized ore from the receiving location to a discharge end of the first mobile conveyor. The method also involves disposing a second mobile conveyor to receive the sized ore from the discharge end of the first mobile conveyor at a transfer location along a length of the second mobile conveyor and to convey the sized ore from the transfer location to the processing apparatus. The first and second mobile conveyors are oriented at an operational angle between a length of the first mobile conveyor and a length of the second mobile conveyor.

Abstract: The present application relates to a multi-dimensional icon that includes a plurality of panels linked together in a user-configurable structure. Based on user input, such as a flick or other gesture, the multi-dimensional icon can rotate to the next of a series of linked panels. In one embodiment, each linked panel can also have functionality or content associated therewith that is customizable by the user. For example, the user can select the panel to launch an application, a web page, or view content (e.g., a photo). In another embodiment, data can also be associated with a panel so that if the user selects the panel, an application can be launched or a website opened, using the data as a customization parameter.

Abstract: In order to perform computation concerning a large sparse matrix of values, a computer stores in its memory the nonzero values of each row and as many null or preferably zero values as are required to make up a predetermined number of stored values for each row. Associated column indices are also stored. Storage in this format can be carried out by massively parallel processing using a graphics processing unit. The format is acceptable input for programs written to expect input in conventional compressed sparse row format yet avoids the constraints which enforce serial processing in order to store in that conventional format.

The exhaust system may also have a mounting assembly including a platform and a base frame. The emissions control system may be secured to the platform. Abstract: An oil/water separator is provided that is suitable for use aboard an oil spill recovery vessel and elsewhere. The separator comprises a tank structure divided into first and second compartments that communicate via a bottom channel. An inlet pipe supplies an oil/water mix to be separated into the first compartment. An oil suction pipe draws oil out of the first compartment on a continuous or intermittent basis. Water discharges unassisted from the second compartment once the water level in the second compartment has reached a certain level. A heating compartment is provided adjoining the first compartment thereby to enable the oil in the compartment to be heated to reduce its viscosity in cold conditions; this heating compartment is arranged to serve as a reservoir for hydraulic fluid whereby heating of the oil results from heat given up by worked hydraulic fluid returned to the heating compartment after operational use.

A second set of drive members includes another drive member of the first pair and another drive member of the second pair, and the second set of drive members is rotationally fixed with respect to the phase adjustment hub. The phase adjustment hub is angularly adjustable with respect to the shaft to adjust the angular phase of the sets, while the pairs are adjustably spaced one from the other.

Abstract: An improved orbital carton feeder comprises at least one carton gripping suction cup rotatably mounted to a rotatable wheel and moving in a hypocycloidal path having cusps, one of which defines a curved path portion coordinated with a blank placement station. Multiple cusps, cups and operational stations are disclosed, as well as a preferred cusp angular relationship responding to an angle of a carton blank at a discharge or pickoff station and an angle of disposition of a blank received conveyor.
