  • Publication number: 20240131940
Abstract: A cooling system for an electric vehicle charge port includes a member having a base wall including an opening and a perimetrical wall extending from the base wall. The base wall and the perimetrical wall defining a volume. A heat spreader arranged in the volume. A terminal extends from the heat spreader through the opening in the base wall. An amount of phase change material (PCM) arranged in the volume, the amount of PCM is in contact with the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20210342062
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes: a detection unit that detects a touch operation to bring an operation medium into contact with the touch screen and a hovering state in which the operation medium is in a non-contact state above the touch screen; a display processing unit that generates a zoom-in image obtained by zooming in on at least part of an original image to be displayed on the touch screen, and displays at least a partial area of the zoom-in image on the touch screen as a zoom-in area when the hovering state lasts for a predetermined time or more and the amount of movement of the operation medium in the hovering state is within a first threshold value; and an input unit that accepts input of a letter, a numeral, a symbol, a figure, or a drawing based on the touch operation to the zoom-in area.

  • Patent number: 8636848
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vacuumable gel and the gel use to decontaminate surfaces, for example, radioactive decontamination. The gel is composed of a colloidal solution comprising: from 5 to 25 wt % of an inorganic viscosity modifier; from 0.01 to 0.2 wt % of a surfactant, preferably, a surfactant in an amount strictly below 0.1 wt %, wt % relative to the total weight of the gel; from 0.5 to 7 mol, per liter of gel, of an inorganic acid or base; and optionally from 0.05 to 1 mol, per liter of gel, of an oxidizer having a standard redox potential Eo greater than 1.4 V in a strong acid medium or of the reduced form of this oxidizer; the remainder being water. The gel may be applied, by spraying, to a surface to be decontaminated, and removed in the form of dry residues by suction or brushing after drying.

  • Patent number: 7718010
Abstract: The present invention related to a method for treating a surface with a gel, as well as to a treatment gel. The treatment may be a decontamination, etching or surface degreasing treatment, for example. The method comprises in this order, the following steps: applying the treatment gel on the surface to be treated, maintaining the treatment gel on the surface to be treated at a temperature and relative humidity such that the gel dries by breaking up and that it has the time to treat the surface before forming a dry and solid residue, and removing the dry and solid residue from the treated surface by suction or brushing. The gel comprises a viscosing agent, a treatment agent and optional an oxidizing agent.

  • Patent number: 7662754
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition which makes it possible to obtain a gelled aqueous foam capable of decontaminating, stripping or degreasing a surface. The composition of the present invention comprises one or more surfactants, one or more acidic or basic reactants and a gelling agent. The decontamination foam obtained from this composition exhibits long lifetimes, generally of between 1 and 10 hours, guaranteeing a prolonged time of action on the surface and a high decontamination effectiveness. These foams can be used to remove the radioactivity from an inaccessible plant, which is large in size and complex in design, by simple filling or by simple spraying over an accessible surface.

  • Publication number: 20080228022
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vacuumable gel that can be used for decontaminating surfaces, and also to the use of this gel. The decontamination may be, for example, a radioactive decontamination. The gel of the present invention is composed of a colloidal solution. It comprises from 5 to 25 wt % of an inorganic viscosity modifier relative to the total weight of the gel; from 0.01 to 0.2 wt % of a surfactant relative to the total weight of the gel, and, particularly preferably, a surfactant in an amount strictly below 0.1 wt % relative to the total weight of the gel; from 0.5 to 7 mol, per litre of gel, of an inorganic acid or base; and optionally from 0.05 to 1 mol, per litre of gel, of an oxidizer having a standard redox potential E0 greater than 1.4 V in a strong acid medium or of the reduced form of this oxidizer; the remainder being water. It may be applied, by spraying, to a surface to be decontaminated, and removed in the form of dry residues by suction or brushing after drying.
