  • Publication number: 20240137204
Abstract: A system is presented that includes secure push-to-talk voice functionality. Using encryption, authentication, user filtering, and integration with new and existing LMR systems, a secure voice platform ensures malicious software, unauthorized access and brute force security attacks will not compromise the voice communications of the system. The VoIP system is engineered to ensure graceful system degradation in the event of maintenance activities, natural disasters and failure modes. The hardened VoIP system offers the functions a LMR trunking system while utilizing broadband connections. Private calls, group calls, Emergency Alarms with covert monitoring capability, scanning and priority scanning may be incorporated into the system. The system includes a VoIP-controller that serves as a trunking controller, manages available VoIP-based conference bridges, and assigns them as needed to the parties involved in each voice call.

  • Publication number: 20240090889
Abstract: An implant system includes an implant having a body having a proximal end, a distal end, a central cavity disposed between the proximal and distal end, and a proximal end opening disposed proximal to the central cavity. A toggle is at least partially housed within the central cavity and connected to the body by a toggle hinge connection, the toggle having a toggle lumen extending therethrough. An inserter includes an inserter lumen, and an actuator having a distal actuator tip configured to advance into the proximal end opening. An implant system, kit, method for placing an implant device, devices and systems using a pivot suture, suture loading device and related surgical procedures are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8458637
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are provided for implementing enhanced random logic macro (RLM) connectivity on a hierarchical design on an integrated circuit chip with top-level pipeline registers. Random logic macros (RLMs) to be connected are identified. Pipeline registers are identified; an input net is connected to an output net of the identified RLMs, removing the pipeline registers from the design. A chip floor plan results is displayed, providing direct RLM connectivity.

  • Patent number: 8448123
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product are provided for implementing enhanced net routing with improved correlation of pre-buffered and post-buffered routes on a hierarchical design of an integrated circuit chip. In initial wiring steps the nets are routed, and then buffers are add along the net route based upon predetermined electrical parameters. Responsive to adding the buffers, distance based constraints are added to the nets. Then the nets that have been modified are rerouted.

  • Patent number: 6320091
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for making a ceramic composition for the immobilization of actinides, particularly uranium and plutonium. The ceramic is a titanate material comprising pyrochlore, brannerite and rutile. The process comprises oxidizing the actinides, milling the oxides to a powder, blending them with ceramic precursors, cold pressing the blend and sintering the pressed material.

  • Patent number: 5100486
Abstract: A process is disclosed for forming a protective metal coating on a metal surface using a flux consisting of an alkali metal fluoride, an alkaline earth metal fluoride, an alkali metal fluoaluminate, an alkali metal fluosilicate, and mixtures thereof. The flux, in particulate form, is mixed with particles of a metal coating material which may comprise aluminum, chromium, mixtures thereof, and alloys containing at least 50 wt. % aluminum and the particulate mixture is applied to the metal surface in a single step, followed by heating the coated metal surface to a temperature sufficient to cause the metal coating material to react with the metal surface to form a protective reaction product in the form of a metal coating bonded to the metal surface. The metal surface which reacts with the metal coating material to form the protective coating may comprise Fe, Co, Ni, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Zr, Nb, Mo, Tc, Hf, Ta, W, Re and alloys thereof.

  • Patent number: 5084312
Abstract: An improved molten metal containment vessel is disclosed in which wetting of the vessel's inner wall surfaces by molten metal is inhibited by coating at least the inner surfaces of the containment vessel with one or more rare earth oxysulfide or rare earth sulfide compounds to inhibit wetting and or adherence by the molten metal to the surfaces of the containment vessel.
