  • Patent number: 12367971
Abstract: In some aspects, an artificial intelligence that is configured to complete a checklist during a conversation initiates the conversation with a human. The artificial intelligence receives a first human response from the human, extracts data from the first human response, and stores the data in a conversation summary. The artificial intelligence provides a first artificial intelligence response to the human. The artificial intelligence receives a second human response from the human, accesses the conversation summary, and provides a second artificial intelligence response to the human based at least in part on a portion of the data in the conversation summary. The artificial intelligence, based at least in part on determining that the checklist has been completed, ends the conversation with the human.

  • Publication number: 20250201393
Abstract: In some aspects, an artificial intelligence that is configured to complete a checklist during a conversation initiates the conversation with a human. The artificial intelligence receives a portion of a first human response from the human and generates multiple possible responses to the portion of the received first human response. The artificial intelligence selects, based at least in part on receiving additional portions of the first human response from the human, a first artificial intelligence response from the predicted multiple possible responses and provides the first artificial intelligence response to the human. The artificial intelligence, based at least in part on determining that the checklist has been completed, ends the conversation with the human.

  • Publication number: 20240387025
Abstract: In some aspects, a multi-turn conversational system includes: an artificial intelligence to provide a conversation interface configured to execute multiple turns of human-like conversation with a user and a control logic, in communication with the conversation interface, and configured to generate one or more control signals based on evaluating multiple turns of upstream human-like conversation between the conversation interface and the user. The control signals contribute in part to construction of multiple turns of downstream human-like conversation between the conversation interface and the user.

  • Publication number: 20240127444
Abstract: One example method for biomarker detection in digitized pathology samples includes receiving a plurality of image patches corresponding to an image of a pathology slide having a hematoxylin and eosin-stained (“H&E”) stained sample of tissue, each image patch representing a different portion of the image; for each image patch, determining, using a first trained machine learning (“ML”) model, a patch biomarker status; and determining, using a second trained ML model, a tissue sample biomarker status for the sample of tissue based on the patch biomarker statuses of the image patches.

  • Patent number: 7603904
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a characteristic, such as the stiffness, of a portion of a wood specimen characterised by the steps of a) producing an acoustic signal in the wood specimen part way along the length of the wood specimen, and b) sensing a response in the wood specimen part way along the length of the wood specimen including a reverberation from a first end of the wood specimen, and c) calculating a characteristic of a portion of the wood specimen from analysis of the sensed response. A related method and apparatus may be used to determine a characteristic of a portion of a tree stem during harvesting of a tree and the characteristic used to optimise the value of a log cut from the stem.

  • Publication number: 20060144375
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling the ratio of ambient air to recirculated gases in an internal combustion engine, wherein an gas injector includes a intake air conduit defining a ambient air flow path, an actuator connected to the intake air conduit, a recirculated gas conduit operatively coupled and disposed within the intake air conduit defining a recirculated gas flow path and a valve apparatus operatively coupled to the intake air conduit and recirculated gas conduit. The valve apparatus includes; a shaft, a throttle valve coupled to the shaft and in fluid communication with the ambient air flow and a recirculated gas valve coupled to the shaft in fluid communication with the recirculated gas flow. The shaft rotates one of the throttle valve and the recirculated gas valve independent of the rotation of the other one of throttle valve and said recirculated gas valve.
