  • Patent number: 4964637
Abstract: An apparatus for a game of skill has a base member with a gaming surface with a gaming pathway. An orbital pathway is formed on the base surface, and a handle is attached to the base. A top member has a vertical axis and a spindle that extends along the vertical axis. The spindle rides in the orbital pathway as the top member rotates its vertical axis attaining speed to travel the gaming pathway. A game played with the apparatus has as its object keeping the top member spinning long enough to negotiate the gaming pathway an attain points associated with the portion of the gaming pathway negotiated. The gaming pathway may contain obstacles that make the pathway more difficult to travel with point values assigned accordingly.

  • Patent number: 4961577
Abstract: An apparatus and method for playing a game of skill has a base member with a surface and a vertical axis. An orbital pathway is formed on the base surface, and a handle is attached to the base. A top member has a vertical axis and a spindle that extends along the vertical axis. The spindle rides in the orbital pathway as the top member rotates about the vertical axis of the top member. The top member travels along the orbital pathway making an orbit about the vertical axis of the base member each time the top member passes the handle. A game played with the apparatus has as its object keeping the top member spinning to obtain the highest number of orbits. There may be more than one orbital pathway and the top member may be hopped from one pathway to another to increase speed and total number of orbits.

  • Patent number: 4951819
Abstract: A flexible key case is provided which contains an upper end portion, a lower end portion with an opening, and a sidewall extending between the upper and lower end portions. The sidewall has a longitudinal slot and defines a cavity that is accessible through the slot and through the opening of the lower end portion. The key case includes a key ring and means, connected to the key ring, for raising the key ring into the cavity adjacent the upper end portion and lowering the key ring from the cavity through the opening of the lower end portion. The key case holds a plurality of keys in a neat, compact package that shields the keys from contact with a pocket or purse and minimizes jingling. Keys are easily added or removed from the key case and the key case is simple to operate.

  • Patent number: 4928968
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a game of skill has a bottom member with a plurality of pockets and a top member. The top member has a base with a plurality of openings therein, a sidewall attached to the base and a cover having a central opening attached to the sidewall. A spindle connects the top and bottom members, and the top member is rotatable about the spindle whereby each of the openings is vertically aligned with each of the pockets during each revolution of the top member. A flipper is attached to the base for hurling a projectile into a cup on the top member. Projectiles missing the cup pass through the openings into the plurality of pockets as the top member rotates.
