  • Publication number: 20040071830
Abstract: In an infusion bag (1) with a draw string (11) threaded through an opening provided in the top part (2) of the bag (1), surrounding the infusion bag (1) in the longitudinal direction and by means of which the bag (1) can be squeezed, two openings (4 and 5) are produced in the top part (2) at a lateral distance from one another. The draw string (11) is threaded doubled through each of the openings (4, 5) thereby forming two loops (12, 13) which are connected together by an intermediate piece running along the top part (2). Furthermore, the sections (15, 16) of the draw string (11) which are in contact with the infusion bag (1) are threaded back through the loops (12, 13) and form the tension elements (17, 18).

  • Publication number: 20010007688
Abstract: An infusion bag is provided and has a drawstring that is doubled through an opening in an upper portion of a bag to form a loop. One portion of the drawstring extends from the loop and around the bag and back through the loop, with another portion of the drawstring proceeding from such loop. These two portions form pull members for squeezing the bag. The drawstring can also extend around the bag in a doubled state. In addition to extending through the bag opening, the doubled drawstring can also extend through a looped end thereof.

  • Patent number: 3969873
Abstract: Bag strips, filled with dosed portions of the substance to be packages, are fed continuously into the machine and the bags are formed solely by folding operations and closed by staples. A series of manufacturing units are continuously circulated along a conveyance path from a initial station, at which a thread-tag strand is fed to the machine and the bag strips are fed to the machine, past stations in which the bags are folded, erected, provided with a top closure, flattened and removed after separation from the strip.
