  • Publication number: 20240024797
Abstract: A chromatography system includes a first chromatography column and a panel having a top face and an opposing bottom face, a first cavity being formed on the panel so as to pass through the top face and be encircled by an inner surface. The panel bounds an inlet fluid channel having an end terminating at an inlet opening formed on the inner surface encircling the first cavity so that the inlet fluid channel communicates with the first cavity. The panel also bounds a plurality of first outlet fluid channels each having an end terminating at an outlet opening formed on the inner surface encircling the first cavity so that each of the plurality of first outlet fluid channels communicate with the first cavity, a first one of the plurality of first outlet fluid channels being in fluid communication with the first chromatography column. A first valve is rotatably disposed within the first cavity.

  • Patent number: 10394917
Abstract: System, apparatus, user equipment, and associated computer program and computing methods are provided for suggesting websites that are relevant based on the user's browsing history and past search results. In one aspect, a hosted computer application stores the user's browsing history and search results using a cloud-based storage facility, and computing methods, using machine learning techniques, are operative to predict websites the user may want to visit next. Example machine learning techniques may be configured to identify patterns and map data elements in order to predict which website(s) the user might like to visit in a search/browsing session. The training of example machine learning techniques is driven by user interaction, e.g., allowing the removal of non-relevant or less relevant websites from the suggested websites via a suitable user interface.

In one aspect, a hosted computer application stores the user's browsing history and search results using a cloud-based storage facility, and computing methods, using machine learning techniques, are operative to predict websites the user may want to visit next. Example machine learning techniques may be configured to use non-parsed and unstructured data to identify patterns and map hundreds of thousands of data elements, to predict which website(s) the user might like to visit in a search/browsing session. Example machine learning techniques may be further operative to recognize patterns and analyze data at each interaction with the user.

  • Publication number: 20170091166
Abstract: A methodology for representing hierarchical relationships between data in cells utilizes formatting of rows, columns, and cell borders, as well as blank rows. Such formatting and data table structure can be manipulated manually by a user, or automatically by software code, or via some combination of the two. The methodology involves first setting hierarchical relationships between columns or group of columns, or rows and groups of rows, in a spreadsheet or other document as levels and/or groups. Preferably, hierarchical relationships between data added to cells defined in different levels is represented by formatting a connecting border between cells in different levels with a line on either a left or right side (e.g. for columns) or a top or bottom (e.g. for rows).
