  • Publication number: 20240131026
Abstract: The present application describes pharmaceutical formulations of bromocriptine mesylate and methods of manufacturing and using such formulations. The formulations are useful for improving glycemic control in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

  • Patent number: 6264136
Abstract: The aircraft (20,50,60) combines a low aspect ratio lifting body (21) and a higher aspect ratio wing (30). Horizontal and vertical tail surfaces (26, 24) are connected to the rear of the lifting body (21) by one or more booms (23). The wing (30) is attached to the lifting body (21) such that it can be rotated about a spanwise axis (39) and it's aerodynamic center is located behind the aerodynamic center of the lifting body (21). The wing (30) contains adjustable surfaces (31, 32) to change the wing's camber for lift and roll control. A lever arrangement (FIG. 7) controlled by the pilot or remote control operator selectively and relatively pivots the wing (30) and contours the wing surfaces for camber to optimize the lift and control of the lifting body (21) and the wing (30) for maximum efficiency in all flight modes.

  • Patent number: 4962978
Abstract: A seaplane having a low wing, a cabin over the wing, a pusher propeller located at the aft end of the cabin and just forward of the trailing edge of the wing and an empennage supported on a tail boom. The central portion of the leading edge of the wing extends forward in the shape of an isosceles triangle with its base against what would be a conventional leading edge and its apex in a vertical plane through the center line of the aircraft. The wing, including the triangular extension, provides flotation. The underside of the central portion incorporates transverse, angularly displaced and longitudinal steps. The lower portion of the propeller arc is separated from the water surface by the thickness of the wing near its trailing edge and the clearance between the arc and the proximate upper surace of the wing, allowing the thrust line and line of action of aerodynamic drag to be relatively close, resulting in a relatively low negative pitching moment.

  • Patent number: 3952678
Abstract: A central, longitudinally extending, main body boat portion has a step planing surface located forward of the boat's center of gravity. Parallel side sponsons are connected by a wing structure to the main body with the sponsons parallel to the main body portion. Each sponson has forward and rearward stepped planing surfaces disposed, respectively, forwardly and rearwardly of the boat's center of gravity. The propeller and powerplant therefor are disposed in the main body portion and positioned relative to the stepped portions to cause the propeller to operate two-thirds in water at higher speeds. Fins at the under and rear sides of the boat cooperate with a rudder disposed at the forward main underside portion in steering the boat. One of such fins is disposed close to the wash leaving the propeller to counterbalance the torque of the propeller.
