  • Publication number: 20250114859
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a laser plotter and a method for calibrating as well as a method for determining a position of a workpiece in a processing chamber of a laser plotter for cutting, engraving, marking and/or lettering the workpiece. At least one beam source in the form of a laser is used in a housing of the laser plotter, whereby the workpiece is placed on a processing table and the position of at least one inserted workpiece on the processing table or in the processing chamber is detected via at least one camera. At least one camera for the processing chamber is integrated into a lid of the laser plotter, whereby detection of the position of the inserted workpiece or the processing chamber, such as the ruler, is performed both when the lid is open and when it is closed.

  • Publication number: 20250108462
Abstract: The invention relates to a laser plotter, a lens holder, a nozzle holder and a method for detecting a lens and/or nozzle on a focusing unit of a laser plotter for cutting, engraving, marking and/or labeling a workpiece. At least one irradiation source in the form of a laser is used in a housing of the laser plotter. When the irradiation source is activated, a laser beam is directed via deflection elements to a focusing unit, and a processing table or processing chamber is captured via at least one camera. For detection of the lens and/or nozzle, the focusing unit is moved to a defined position at which the lens and/or nozzle is clearly visible to the camera, whereupon an image of the focusing unit is recorded via the camera and the lens and/or nozzle is detected in the image via an analysis tool.

  • Publication number: 20240359261
Abstract: A laser device and a method for producing a perforation on a workpiece for various laser devices is disclosed. Two beam sources in the form of lasers may be located to act on the workpiece to be processed. The workpiece is deposited in a defined manner on a processing table and a laser beam emitted by the beam source is deflected in the direction of the workpiece and focused for processing. Control is effected via software running in a control unit where the workpiece is processed by adjusting a carriage in the X-Y direction or by adjusting an angle of a mirror. A “perforation” option may be loaded or used such that during processing of the workpiece, a continuous line or incision is formed on an upper side of the workpiece over a defined depth, and indentations or cuts are formed at defined intervals.

  • Publication number: 20230304252
Abstract: A utility loader incorporating a boom of adjustable length. The boom includes either or both of a left and right arm assembly, with each lift arm assembly including a rear lift arm telescopingly engaged with a front lift arm. Each lift arm assembly also includes an extension actuator adapted to variably extend and retract the front lift arm relative to the rear lift arm. The lift arm assembly includes a connection point to, e.g., receive a tool assembly, and the motion of the lift arm assembly is synchronized to move the connection point along a predetermined path. In one or more embodiments, the predetermined path includes moving along a direction that is normal to the ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20200199940
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to underground horizontal directional drills and, more particularly, to aspects of drill operation, ground anchoring, and operator assistance features. In some embodiments, a drill is provided that includes an anchor assembly and/or a rear stabilizer that may pivot relative to a carriage frame of the drill. In other embodiments, a roller bearing system that permits the carriage to translate along the carriage frame is provided. In still other embodiments, rests to support the drill rod during makeup and breakout are described.

  • Patent number: 10416891
Abstract: Systems and methods for transitioning and updating machine instructions from a first system with an older/initial component(s) to a second system or platform with one or more different components and new or modified operations or functions are provided. Embodiments enable improved obsolescence/configuration management and customization of the older/initial system's machine instructions (MI) to a target application/platform with new or modified capabilities. One exemplary system enables processing binary tape tracks for linear flash media over a universal serial bus (USB) to a personal computer (PC) card interface. User interfaces are provided for editing MIs to insert/modify functions or capabilities of obsolete MIs, e.g. binary tape tracks that are customized for a system with obsolete component(s) (e.g. tape drive), transferring data to/from a newer component (e.g. a linear flash media).

  • Patent number: 4875889
Abstract: An agricultural combine has a generally horizontal grain pan for delivering threshed crop material to a grain cleaning mechanism. The grain pan includes a plurality of generally upright fore-and-aft extending vanes that are adjustable to deflect crop material toward either lateral side of the grain pan to compensate for the gravity influenced migration of grain toward the downhill side of the combine when operating on a side slope. The vanes are automatically controlled by an electrical system that includes sensors at opposite sides of the grain pan that detect the building of crop material on the downhill side of the combine and adjusts the vanes to compensate for the buildup.
