  • Patent number: 10584639
Abstract: A gas turbine combustor assembly includes a primary combustion chamber in fluid communication with a primary fuel injector and a primary air inlet. A torch igniter is carried by the primary combustion chamber, and includes an auxiliary combustion chamber housing comprising a mixing chamber and a throat region converging downstream of the mixing chamber. An air swirler including a plurality of swirl openings surrounding an outlet of an auxiliary fuel injector is coupled to the auxiliary combustion chamber proximate the mixing chamber. An ignition source projects into the mixing chamber of the auxiliary combustion chamber.

  • Publication number: 20070264434
Abstract: A fastener assembly includes a row of fasteners having a head, a tip, and a portion of a shank coated with a polymer composition. The polymer composition includes a polymer material such as polyurethane and metal particles. The polymer composition is used to provide improved corrosion and ultraviolet radiation resistance when used with naturally corrosive or pressure preservative treated wood. The fastener assembly is coated with the polymer composition by vacuum coating a dispersion of the polymer composition in a solvent such as water and removing the solvent.

  • Publication number: 20060137277
Abstract: A modular wall assembly structure capable of withstanding adverse external forces such as extreme weather conditions is disclosed. The modular structure is formed from a plurality of substantially parallel framing studs. A wallboard panel is affixed to the framing studs, and a support component is attached to the rear side of the framing studs to provide tensile strength to the wall structure. The modular wall assembly structure can be used to prepare solid wall panels, window panels, door panels, and corner panels. The wall assembly structure is sufficiently strong to withstand hurricane force winds without being destroyed. A method for constructing a modular wall exterior wall structure is also provided.
