  • Publication number: 20200387157
Abstract: A system (and method and computer product) to provide a service using an autonomous agent and wayfinding instructions includes a processor and a memory device accessible to the processor. The memory device stores a set of machine-readable instructions to permit the processor to execute a method for providing a service using agents capable of autonomously navigating unattended within a service area, as guided along a predetermined path based on receiving wayfinding instructions. The processor includes a communication port to permit a communication during assignments with one or more communication devices on a wayfinding device carried by or attached to an agent selected for implementing an assignment.

  • Patent number: 10812783
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product for displaying information. A display system comprises a display device with pixels, a lenticular lens system, a sensor system, and a controller. The lenticular lens system is located on the pixels in the display device. The sensor system is positioned to detect a position of eyes of an authorized user with respect to the display device. The controller determines an authorized viewing angle of each lenticular lens to the eyes of the authorized user in the lenticular lens system using the position of the eyes of the authorized user and turns on a set of the pixels such that the authorized user sees information at the authorized viewing angle.

  • Patent number: 8528435
Abstract: A power assist element for arrangement in a synchronizer hub of a transmission synchronization device includes a base body, which has a height, a longitudinal extension and a lateral extension, and which in the direction of the longitudinal extension comprises includes two opposite, distal end sections. In at least one end section a functional surface is formed, which in the installed state cooperates with the synchronizer hub. On the base body between the two distal end sections a central elevation is formed for engagement in a sliding sleeve groove on a bottom of a sliding sleeve. The central elevation includes at least one additional functional surface which can be brought into active connection with the sliding sleeve. The functional surface in the distal end section(s) is at an acute angle to the greatest longitudinal extension of the base body and oriented at an angle to the longitudinal extension.

  • Patent number: 7361111
Abstract: A power branching transmission suitable for motor vehicles having an internal-combustion engine which drives an input shaft of the power branching transmission has several branches comprising at least one power shift transmission with a number of gears and has an output shaft. For the comprehensive optimization of the power branching transmission, at least one of the branches is equipped with a control device by means of which, during the starting operation of the motor vehicle, the rotating direction of the output shaft can be changed, and during the starting operation and with shifted gears of the power shift transmission connected with the input shaft, by way of the control device, the rotational speed of the output shaft can be continuously influenced.

  • Patent number: 6601718
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the orientation of the load in cranes, in which the load hung from cables is rotated by a predetermined absolute angle using rotating gear between cable and load. Under the invention, here a regulating device is provided for the rotating gear with which torsion oscillations of the load are suppressed, where, as input values, the absolute rotating angular speed and the angular position of the rotating gear are measured and fed back to the setting input.
