Abstract: A method for cleaning surfaces, wherein the surface to be cleaned is simultaneously or successively brought into contact with two components of a treatment solution, wherein a first component of the treatment solution has a first active ingredient that is embodied to couple to a contaminant to be cleaned off and is embodied to stimulate or catalyze a chemical reaction of a second active ingredient in a second component of the treatment solution, wherein the second active ingredient used in the second component of the treatment solution is a gas mixture having at least two gaseous components that react chemically with each other under the influence of the first active ingredient.

Abstract: A shoring adapter configured for spreading cargo loads, in particular heavy cargo loads, to be loaded on board of a transport aircraft, includes at least one base portion configured to be placed on a standardized aircraft cargo pallet and a cargo adapter portion configured to accommodate the cargo load. In operation, the cargo adapter portion is mounted on top of the at least one base portion. The at least one base portion includes a lower frame assembly, an upper frame assembly and at least one elastic support assembly. The at least one elastic support assembly is arranged between the lower and upper frame assemblies such that, in operation, the upper frame assembly is elastically supported in a vertical direction by the at least one elastic support assembly on the lower frame assembly.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes a freestanding fireplace hearth having a cradle, a leg assembly supporting the cradle and a rear curved deflector extending upwardly from a rear edge of the cradle. The apparatus further includes an artificial logset having a base disposed on the cradle, with the logset further including a flame deflector pivotally mounted on the base, a fuel burning chamber removably mounted on the base and at least a pair of artificial non-burning log members. One of the log members is removably mounted on the base and the other is removably mounted on the flame deflector.

Abstract: A natural, edible dye, characterized by particular infrared and ultraviolet spectra and a method for its production, in which cell walls of the skins of colored beans of the genus Phaseolus, such as black beans, are destroyed, the released dye is extracted with water or an aqueous solution of a weak organic acid after weak acidulation, the obtained extract is separated from the skin residues, and the solution is concentrated and dried. The dye is used, in particular, for coloring foodstuffs and snack foods, beverages, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, and for coloring textiles, paper and leather.
