  • Patent number: 9079142
Abstract: A device is designed to be coupled to a fluid supply at a first inlet, to a fluid exhaust path at an outlet, and to an additive source at a second inlet. An inlet stream of working fluid is mixed with the additive in a mixing chamber and an outlet stream of the mixed fluid exhausts from the device. The device uses a hydraulic pump employing a valve mechanism that cycles and ports the flow of fluid through the device and allows for the mixing of the working fluid in the mixing chamber. The valve mechanism is spring actuated by a linkage mechanism employing a push-pull linkages tensioned by a spring. The mixing action allows a specific quantity of additive to mix with the working fluid in the mixing chamber of the device. Thus, the outlet stream provides a mixture of a predetermined concentration of whatever additive is used.

  • Patent number: 9003316
Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides a method for entering technical formulas. The method includes receiving a sequence of inputs on a computing device. The sequence of inputs specifies the technical formula. The method also includes displaying the technical formula in response to receiving the sequence of inputs. Additionally, the method includes determining an alternate sequence of inputs that specify the technical formula. The alternate sequence of inputs may be input to the computing device to display the technical formula. The method further includes displaying the alternate sequence.

  • Publication number: 20150082216
Abstract: Example apparatus and methods concern controlling a hover-sensitive input/output interface. One example apparatus includes a proximity detector that detects an object in a hover-space associated with the input/output interface. The apparatus produces characterization data concerning the object. The characterization data may be independent of where in the hover-space the object is located. The apparatus selectively controls the activation, display, and deactivation of user interface elements displayed by the apparatus on the input/output interface as a function of the characterization data and interface state.
