  • Publication number: 20170099969
Abstract: An openable and closeable lid assembly is provided for a beverage container. The lid assembly comprises a lid housing, an actuator and a seal. The lid housing has an upper surface with a drink aperture and an actuator aperture extending therethrough. The actuator extends through the actuator aperture and is positionable in an open position, where liquid can pass through the drink aperture, and a closed position, where the drink aperture is closed. A seal is provided adjacent the actuator aperture. The seal seals against the actuator and the lid housing to prevent liquid from escaping out the actuator aperture.

  • Publication number: 20170103550
Abstract: The present invention is notably directed to a computer-implemented method for image reconstruction. The method comprises: accessing elements that respectively correspond to measurement values, which can be respectively mapped to measurement nodes; and performing message passing estimator operations to obtain estimates of random variables associated with variable nodes, according to a message passing method in a bipartite factor graph. In this message passing method: the measurement values are, each, expressed as a term that comprises linear combinations of the random variables; each message exchanged between any of the measurement nodes and any of the variable nodes is parameterized by parameters of a distribution of the random variables; and performing the message passing estimator operations further comprises randomly mapping measurement values to the measurement nodes, at one or more iterations of the message passing method.

  • Publication number: 20170029182
Abstract: A cleanable lid assembly is provided for a beverage container. The lid assembly has a lid housing having a drink aperture, and a seal assembly that is connected to the lid housing while movable between a first or operable position and a second or cleaning position. The seal assembly has a stopper that can open and close the drink aperture in the first position. The seal assembly is pivotally connected to the lid housing to transition to the cleaning position. A locking member extends transversely from the seal assembly to engage a stop on the lid housing and lock the seal assembly in the operable position. The locking member is moveable radially inward to disengage from the stop and to allow the seal assembly to transition from the first position to the cleaning position.

  • Patent number: 9536556
Abstract: A heat assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) assembly includes a slider, a laser diode and solder connections between the laser diode and the slider. The solder connections mechanically and electrically attach the laser diode to the slider. Each solder connection has a total volume per unit area (i.e., height) of less than or equal to about 15 ?m. The solder connections have a first intermetallic zone adjacent to the laser diode, a second intermetallic zone adjacent to the slider, and a eutectic zone of eutectic material between the first and second intermetallic zones. The eutectic zone occupies greater than or equal to about 35% of the total volume per unit area of the solder connection.

  • Publication number: 20160043074
Abstract: The invention provides a three dimensional (3D) semi-conductor device comprising a first junctionless transistor doped with dopants of the same polarity; a second junctionless transistor doped with dopants of the same polarity; and the second junctionless transistor and the first junctionless transistor comprise an opposite dopant polarity are stacked in a vertical arrangement, where the first and second junctionless transistors are separated by an insulating layer. The invention makes use of the fact that the transistors are uniformly doped with the same polarity to provide a junctionless transistor. The junctionless concept provides that the junction is already formed, so there is no high temperature step associated with junction formation or junction regrowth. This is an important advantage in the junctionless concept in relation to 3D monolithic integration that allows for vertical stacking of the transistors to form a three dimensional CMOS inverter.

  • Patent number: 9190100
Abstract: A bottom surface of an optical component is bonded to a mounting surface. The bottom surface includes a first opaque feature and the mounting surface includes a second opaque feature. The first and second opaque features are hidden between the bottom surface and the mounting surface after the bonding. An infrared image is obtained through a top surface of the optical component that is opposed to the bottom surface. The infrared image includes a view of a region proximate first and second opaque features. One or more of an optical alignment and a bond line thickness between the optical component and the mounting surface is determined via the infrared image.

  • Patent number: 9158876
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes accessing mask input data. The mask input data includes a mathematical representation of a mask in a mask representation space, where the mask is configured to create an integrated circuit microprocessor. A set of values is obtained based on a derivative of the mask input data. The set of values is optimized, by a computer processor, in a derivative domain to obtain optimized mask data. The optimized mask data is transformed into the mask representation space to obtain printable mask output data.

  • Publication number: 20150201771
Abstract: A pitcher is provided having a container body and a lid sealing assembly. The container body has a liquid retaining cavity. A pour aperture is fluidly associated with the cavity to allow liquid to be poured from the pitcher. The lid sealing assembly is removably connected to the container body. The lid sealing assembly has an actuation assembly having a push-button actuated actuator that operates a seal member. The actuator is moveable between a normal position and a use position. The seal member is positioned outside the cavity and adjacent the pour aperture. The seal member seals the pour aperture when the actuator is in the normal position and the seal member is moved from the pour aperture to open the pour aperture when the actuator is in the use position. When the seal member is moved from the pour aperture liquid can be poured from the pitcher.
