    Abstract: An apparatus and method for induction logging is disclosed. By transmitting a sequence of pulses at many frequencies, the formation invaded zone diameter can be distinguished as a result of changes in resistivity. As higher frequencies are swept, dielectric constant varies with frequency and this variation is evident in chart form. An apparatus for controlled antenna field formation is also disclosed.
