  • Patent number: 6332992
Abstract: A process for coating an upper surface of a panel with a mesh reinforced coating includes the steps of: placing a cementitious mixture in a container having a measured slit in the bottom thereof; passing a length of mesh through the container to produce a cementitious laden mesh; moving said panel and container with respect to each other while laying said cementitious laden mesh onto the upper surface of the panel; and cutting off the mesh to provide a coated panel. The coated panel may be subjected to vibration to smooth the upper surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 6067924
Abstract: A container for supporting an anchor on its side on the deck of a boat. The container is a hollow enclosure having an enclosed bottom, sides and a top. The top of the hollow enclosure has an anchor support recess having two side recesses for the anchor flukes and a front recess for the anchor shank. The top has a central enclosure and as an anchor is raised, the line can be placed in the central enclosure and the anchor rested on the top with its flukes resting on the side support recesses and the shank resting in the front recess. A strap can be provided to hold the anchor on the container.

  • Patent number: 5966885
Abstract: A panel for use in the construction of walls. The panel is preferably about 2' high and 10' long with a thickness of approximately 4". An upper pair of grooves is formed longitudinally near the top and another pair formed longitudinally near the bottom. A metal C-shaped reinforcing member is held by these grooves over the top and bottom of the rectangular panel to reinforce the same. Preferably the top and bottom are slightly beveled so that when one panel is placed with its top adjacent the bottom of a superior panel, a slight depression is formed which may be readily filled with a grout to provide a smooth upper surface. The panel is particularly useful in conjunction with spaced fence posts which have grooves to permit the panel to be slid in between two adjacent posts. After grouting, the entire fence or wall may be stuccoed to give it a smooth and attractive appearance.

  • Patent number: 5946881
Abstract: A form for casting a concrete fence post in place and the process of using the form. The form has elongated first and second halves, each having outwardly extending flanges which are attached together to form a cavity in the shape of a finished fence post. The form halves are either slightly tapered or fastened by fasteners which may be loosened so that the form can be easily lifted off the resulting cured concrete post. The process for using the form includes the steps of placing the post form over a post hole and pouring wet concrete into the top of the post form. The wet concrete is allowed to cure and then the post form is lifted off the cured post. The lifting step may be carried out with assistance of a jack and/or by loosening the fasteners which hold the two halves together.

  • Patent number: 5580480
Abstract: A form for making a concrete fence post supported by the ground is disclosed. The form has two elongated halves which are hinged together and clamped along one edge. The form is supported over a post hole and concrete is poured into the form. Reinforcing bars or mesh is inserted in the wet concrete and the concrete is permitted to set. The form is then opened and removed resulting in a reinforced concrete fence post. The process of using the form is also disclosed.
