    Abstract: The splice boot comprises retention means for holding an exit end portion of the boot to a connector block. The retention means take the form of integrally formed parallel rib segments on the exterior of the exit end of the splice boot such that part of a connector block abuts against the rear ends of the ribs to secure the boot to the connector block.
