    Abstract: A pair of spaced-apart electrically conductive strips are fused along their entire length to a ceramic substrate. The conductive strips are connected with a variable resistance device whose resistance varies with temperature. The ceramic substrate and components mounted thereon are inserted in a metal sheath to form a temperature sensing probe.
