    Abstract: The subject application is directed to display means adapted to interface with multiple personal electronic devices, such as personal data assistants, cellular telephones, laptops, and the like. An accessible display system includes shared display means and access control means in data communication with the shared display means. The access control means is in data communication with multiple associated mobile computing devices and selectively allows access to the shared display means from the associated mobile computing devices. The shared display means includes at least one of: a display of a fixed computing device, a display of a mobile computing device, and a mobile display, and is adapted for providing feedback to the associated mobile or fixed computing devices. The access control means may be built directly into a desktop computer or into a mobile monitor, or may be a stand alone device.

The system employs a multi-media interface, high-resolution, flickerless color video displays for both a patient and a clinician. These displays work in concert with a computer-based system which includes software adapted to support a clinician testing a patient's visual capabilities. The system forms a component of a full medical office management facility which is extended to allow archiving of patient data, account information, office environment control, and patient education.
