  • Patent number: 11846457
Abstract: A transportation refrigeration assembly includes a modular heat exchanger unit that includes at least one absorption heat exchanger and at least one expansion device. A frame supports the modular heat exchanger unit. A first cooling air outlet is in fluid communication with the modular heat exchanger unit. A second cooling air outlet is in fluid communication with the modular heat exchanger unit.

  • Patent number: 5804946
Abstract: A fuel tank for a self contained generator set of the type adapted to be mounted on a transport container, which has a refrigeration unit mounted on one end thereof. The generator set is adapted to provide electrical power for the refrigeration unit. The outer perimeter of the end of the transport container and the refrigeration unit mounted thereon cooperate to define a predetermined envelope in which the generator set must be mounted. The predetermined envelope is defined by the top of the container, the lateral sides of the container and at the lower end by the location of the condenser fan discharge and operating controls of the refrigeration unit. The fuel tank of the generator set is substantially U-shaped having a lower section substantially co-extensive with the lower end of the predetermined envelope and first and second vertically extending sections which extend to the top of the envelope and which are substantially co-extensive with the two lateral sides of the envelope.

  • Patent number: 5762232
Abstract: A U-shaped fuel tank for a self contained generator set of the type adapted to be mounted on a refrigerated container has an integral structural framework. The framework includes an H-shaped structure defined by a horizontal structural plate which serves as a wall of a lower section of the tank as well as the primary support for the motor and generator. Vertically extending structural plates attached to opposite ends of the horizontal plate serve as walls for vertical tank sections as well as structural components and baffles within the interior of the tank.

  • Patent number: 5673738
Abstract: A conduit for filling a tank with a liquid includes an outlet end having a liquid outlet opening, which is fluidly coupled to the tank to be filled. The conduit includes an inlet end having a liquid inlet, adapted to be operatively engaged with a source of liquid, which is vertically spaced from the outlet by a predetermined distance. An intermediate liquid conducting section is adapted to receive liquid introduced through the inlet opening and to conduct the liquid to the outlet opening and thereby to the tank. The liquid conducting section has a length and a cross sectional shape, which in combination preclude the formation of vortex flow in the conduit at a predetermined rate of liquid flow therethrough.
